  • My Bird’s Nest Sansevieria Snake Plant is having babies! They need to leave the nest now. Come see me separate and pot these cuties. Sansevieria are an easy to care for houseplant that will propagate new pups for you to separate and pot. They can grow in lighting conditions from low to bright indirect light and don't mind some neglect with their watering schedules. They like well draining soil.
Check out my video on bottom watering your houseplants: • How to bottom water yo...

    Nice video!
Bird's Nest Sansevieria is so easy & rewarding. Just never ever over-water it.
Got this variety with the yellow rim too which seems not so common but very cheery.
Always fun to see new babes popping up, and help them become independent and eventually have babes of their own. So many have grown on my window sills, and little ones been passed on too.

This is one of my favorite plants. Not fussy and low maintenance! I have 3 pups from mine. All together I have 5 birds nest. They are just so cute. 🌿🌱🌿

I know what you're saying! A few months ago I had like 4 plants.. now I have like 45 different varieties. And propagating them is my favourite pastime these days 😄 I have bird's nest too, and I was planning on leaf propagation 🤔

Congratulations on the triplets! Use a super sharp knife instead of shears, much cleaner cut and less trauma to the plant fibre. I'd love to see updates.

I’ve had mine for about a year and have had 2 pups already with another one that’s not quite ready to be dug up yet. Is this normal? I’ve never owned a plant that had babies this much lol

Yes! I have found they go in spurts. I'll get a bunch and then not many for a while.

They are doing really well but nothing super exciting to make a whole video about 🤣 Maybe I’ll combine it with another video.

I'm gutted. I thought that the pups had to be cut from the plant.. I snipped it off, only to realize they had roots growing :'(

Just stick the part you cut off in some water and it will grow new roots! I may take a month or so, but give it a try. Change the water ever few days.

I think you repotted the babies too soon they were to small I have a big birds nest that has put two babies at the top instead of at the roots

Thank you for watching. The timing was fine for when I separated the pups. There just happened to be that one I didn’t know about hiding down there. You can also wait longer. Good luck with yours! 🪴
