Thank you so much for the update. It was very timely. Yesterday, I was closely following your previous video but was stalled and felt helpless. Glad I saw your update and followed. Everything went well. I am happy. Btw, I am a Window user. Just in case you are challenged to find the conversion to pdf, here is a tip: in the option where we select the printer, scroll to the right to find Microsoft print to pdf (this seemed hard to find). All the best.
I used your method and had success. I wanted my knockout result to be a little bit thicker, so I used the knockout png image, went through the whole process to save it one more time as a new png, and it worked!
Thank you so much for this video!!!! I just got a Cricut Maker for Christmas and it has been sitting in the box because I was so afraid of it and now your video was just what I needed to get started. Your patient way of explaining each step is amazing. Thank you again!!!
I saw your original tutorial long ago when I just got my Maker. Your explanations are so easy to follow that I was able to tackle things I felt were beyond my ability. Thank you so much!! 🤗❤️
Funny I've tried each time, holding the shift key and then move my objects but they don't lock in place from moving up and down. 🤔 I thought it was because I was using a MacBook, but I see you're using one too... Not sure what I'm doing incorrectly... Anyhow thanks for a great video!
Thanks I will try this weekend ... I do think I might have an older version of Cricut’s design space because I didn’t see all the same options of the cut / fill area
You possibly did not have all the parts selected when you welded or you have more than two things selected when you are trying to slice or only one thing selected when trying to slice. Check your layers. Hope that helps.
I have watched more UA-cam videos about weld, slice and attach. I watched one of your videos and dang, I got it! I don’t know what flatten is for. Can you point me in the right direction?
I ran into the same issue myself and was not able to save the image either since it didn’t have the option to save the image as a PDF file. Were you able to figure it out? If so, can you help a girl out please? Thanks in advance!
I have tried and tried - i can not get it to work on my windows computer. i don't own a mac, and this is really frustrating. i can get to where you minimize the screen and my dialog box is supposed to show up on the back of design space - it's not there. :(
Was following you along quite wonderfully - until it came time to locate the screenshot. I cannot find it anywhere - nope, not even in the pictures folder. So I'm stuck because you cannot upload a .PDF file into DS. aargh!
l am having difficulties at the point where we are going to print the names. l am working with windows and not sure how to save it. It will not give me an option to save as a png, svg or jpeg file. Anyone have any tips?
Starting from the beginning of what? This is how you start. I have a link to the original video in the description that show how to put vinyl on a ceramic tile.
This is far more difficult than necessary. If you type your knockout name, duplicate (I duplicated 8 times), layer them on top of each other and weld. Then use that to knockout MOM. The original knockout name will fill nicely and it takes only 45 seconds.
You are putting your letters too close together. It may be a super small amount, but you need to move them just a little. You can zoom in or make the letters bigger, just while you are welding, and that can sometimes help too.

Debbie Kwiecinski great! I have done that too. It is a great way to create an offset drop shadow for some text also.
Thank you so much for the updated video. You are very easy to follow. I am so excited to learn more tips and tricks from you!!
Great! It's hard to keep up sometimes with all the updates. Thanks for watching.
thank you thank you!! I was pulling my hair yesterday looking for the scissors icon on my maker, then i wake up today to this update :)

This is the best Video I have tried so many times I got it so excited
Yay!! I'm glad it helped!!

You are very welcome. Thank you so much for that compliment. Hope you still love your Cricut!!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate the step by step instructions!
This video was so excellent! I watched Jennifer Maker and got lost. But this was perfect. I'm a new follower!
Your tutorial is great! I can't select the "no fill" option to change it to print. Not sure what I am doing wrong. Any suggestions?
Excellent tutorial! Thank you so much.

asiandrmr weird. Not sure why it’s not working for you. Glad you found the video helpful.
Fantastic! Thank you! 😊

If you haven't used Design Space for a while it will have you update before you begin a project.
Fab Crafts and More I’m working on windows 7 too
Hi! Thank you for the video! I welded at the end, but then it does not allow me to slice. What am I doing wrong?

I love how thorough you are! But I am on a Windows and when the printer dialog box comes up it doesn’t show the picture to save it. Any suggestions?
What do you mean by the picture to save it? I can probably help since I have a windows and did it successfully!
Im in the same position right now. Its not the same. The print box is completely different and theres no save button.
I ran into the same issue myself and was not able to save the image either since it didn’t have the option to save the image as a PDF file. Were you able to figure it out? If so, can you help a girl out please? Thanks in advance!
Great information. Blessings and Hugs 🤗
Thank you so much. I have a laptop so I have to figure somethings out. (to convert to png.)
It can be in jpg or png. Whatever your clipping tool or screen shot saves it as should be fine.
What was the size of the tiles in the old video?

I'm sorry you are having trouble. I'm not sure where your screen shots get saved. What computer do you use?
Hi, I have hp laptop and using my cricut explorer air 2. So after I select print and it starts loading I printing options but not save pfd
Check out the updated video I have linked in the description!!
@@fabcraftsandmore i don't see an update on the description on this video.
@@sw33tdr3m1 oops, sorry, this is the updated way to do it. I'm not sure why it's not showing up for you.
From what I have found on a google search you choose Adobe PDF as the printer in the print dialogue box. Hope that helps.
l am having difficulties at the point where we are going to print the names. l am working with windows and not sure how to save it. It will not give me an option to save as a png, svg or jpeg file. Anyone have any tips?
Oh could you please do a course or tutorial starting from the beginning ?
Starting from the beginning of what? This is how you start. I have a link to the original video in the description that show how to put vinyl on a ceramic tile.

No matter what I try, whenever I weld, it always fills in the bubble letters (i.e. d, e, a, etc.) how do I get it to not do this?
You are putting your letters too close together. It may be a super small amount, but you need to move them just a little. You can zoom in or make the letters bigger, just while you are welding, and that can sometimes help too.
@@fabcraftsandmore Thank you! That worked!
My dialog box does not pop up and I'm using Windows. Any suggestions
Stephanie Minter did you choose show dialog and look behind all your open apps and windows?
I did but I figured it out, Thank you
Sorry I meant Windows.
