I used to love this game, but it's been a long time since I've played it. I remember Buck Rogers joined the party at one time, and I would swap him guns! 😅 Good game! Nice review. 🍻🕹️👾
I watched the 80s TV show Buck Rogers in the 25th Century as a kid a lot. I picked this up this version of the game several years ago after hearing it was really great from BitHead1000. I have yet to play it. I clearly just need to make the time. Thanks for inspiring me to fire this up. Great character names, and by the way, the interference from the RF connection brings back some deep memories of my early video gaming. It's amazing how when a game is fun you can totally ignore the interference... well, at least when I was young. Cheers!
Hi there R Hippie, I never really watched buck rogers all that much so I don't remember it much as it bleeds in with Star Wars in my memories-- I don't watch much of star wars anymore though due to the wokeism and political ideologies embedded in the newer episodes. This game kind of reminds me of some of the early 90s PC Dungeons and Dragons games I used to play such as Dragon Lance and Forgotten Realms... which I'm sure you are familiar with those realms since you said you played Dungeons and Dragons. I remember one game particularly of a realm called Dark Sun, have you ever heard of it? When it comes to sega genesis I only played Mortal Kombat and Golden Axe as well as Super Ghouls and Ghosts... pretty much limited to the games my friends had since I was a Super NIntendo boy. I did play the star wars games on the Super Nintendo which were pretty fun. BTW when you play DnD with a group what class and race do you play and what version of DnD do you play? We used to play over the phone during Covid because all my friends were down in NC and one of our group members moved up to Seattle which I believe is near you so it was always a time difference issue to deal it when playing.
@@retrogaminghippie3720 I don't play anymore, like you I have bigger responsibilities I have to deal with such as taking care of my dad. Playing a game requires a committment which I cannot do these days... maybe one day. My favorite class was a bard usually elven. Rangers are pretty versatile though, my friend played rangers a lot. I played 3.5 edition

Not much time for D&D, but last time I played, it was 5th edition. Usually play a rangers.
