+Nostophod +Esparza Cartoons WOW i'd LOVE to see the Gang as Guardians of the Galaxy, i loved how Jimmy Urine from the band Mindless Self Indulgence was in the the second movie as a villain. (If you haven't heard of that band look up some songs like Get It Up an anything from the If CD)
thee huggett macs elbow dance/karate moves Dee’s dance she learned from the inflatable thing in the Gang buys a boat, Franks dance from the strip club from one of the first episodes he’s in and i can’t think of Charlie’s
Mac - doing his "karate" dance Dee - doing her "inflatable man" dance Frank - doing his "go for it, go for it" dance Charlie - doing his "butt" dance Dennis - sitting down because he doesn't have a signature dance
This is one of the best scenes in the series. Not because it's funny, I mean, that too, but because it's so depressing. The fact that they're all doing their signature dances isn't just a nice little callback, but it's indicative of how nothing has changed after all these years. They're just five terrible people who spend their time in a bar and only have each other, and that's all they ever aspire to be. In this scene, it's showing how Dennis has finally broken out of the loop and can retrospectively take a look at his surroundings and realise it's not what he truly wants.
Everyone's dance move is shown off here *Mac* - His karate dance *Dee* - Her inflatable guy dance *Frank* - The 'Oh, go for it!' move *Charlie* - His pants move from The Gang Dances Their Asses Off
I think it's because, for once, they're not being awful nor is life crapping on them, and they've, for a moment, escaped from Dennis's doom and enforced roles. For a moment, at least, he's not hurting them. The diner scene between Charlie and Dee has the same energy.
