Use Google Maps to see what your commute time would be to and from work (including traffic). Drive there and back a few times as well. 30 minutes is a normal commute for many so I investigate further and reassess.
Thank you for sharing your experiences and asking the questions I need to ask myself before making a final relocation decision. Currently considering a relocation opportunity across the country from the west to east coast working in a new industry that is expected to grow in the next 2-3 years. In my 20s, single and looking to grow my career path and this video has helped me tremendously. Thank you again for sharing! 💯
I am currently in the dilemma where I cannot find a job in my current state, but I was offered a great paying job with good opportunities to further my career in another state, but I would know no one there. I’m really considering taking it and going, but I’m scared of missing my friends and family.
Unfortunately the major employer in my town is going under and I am going to be forced to potentially move. Grrrr. I have moved for a job 3 times and have come "home" each time... that "should" tell me something, BUT, the older generations of my family are mostly gone, many friends and family have moved away, not sure what is anchoring me to this area anymore other than my house is paid off, hate of change and comfort of knowing my area. Each time I have moved to a new area it has been so exhilarating and fun, but needs of family keep drawing me back... maybe it is time I need to walk away and let them make it or not on there own...
Are you considering relocating for a job opportunity? What have you learned during this process? Let me know in the comments below!
Super stressful 😫
It is. Hang in there!

You never know unless you take the leap of faith and explore! The good news is, you can always return home.
Very well thought of points. Thank you!

I can imagine how frustrating this is. You got this! Thank you for sharing.
Is it smart to relocate to a different city to find a job rather than finding the job and then relocating
Personal, I’d find the job and relocate after. However, I’ve seen it done both ways.
@@RyanReflects I agree!
dont do it
It’s definitely something that’s not for everyone
