  • Think of this as your Girlfriend's Guide to Botox, let my mistakes be your warning. This video is for all ages! If you stopped procedures because you didnt't like how you looked, you probably let your injector talk you into the wrong areas. I will break down areas to avoid and ones that will help smooth out deep lines etched into your face. Don't despair, with the proper injection and good, juicy skincare, you can have skin with lines that bounce back smoothly when not expressing, even if these lines have formed decades ago. Proper injections and good skincare habits take time but it's the best investment in your face and when done conservatively, you will look soft and rested.

Thanks, Michelle. Your skincare suggestions have made my skin bouncier and minimized the elevens on my face. I'm 56, and my husband has noticed a difference. I get compliments on my skin, and yesterday, two women in their 40s said I looked much younger. I don't have the courage to do Botox, but I can see the difference it has made for you and I appreciate your explanation. 🙏❤️

At 59, I've been getting BOTOX for my MIGRAINES. The benefits of getting 46 injections around my head, back of my neck and shoulders with the 11's area and upper forehead, my forehead wrinkles are almost non-existent. I do drill down on skincare, no sun, PLENTY OF SPF always, and lots of water. I miss your blonde hair after seeing these pictures.

I saved this video to take with me to my esthetician... THANK YOU so much for educating us all!!🩷🤗👏🏻 I agree with everything you said, Michelle. I listened to a video you did a while back, so when I went back for my yearly Botox/Filler, I explained to my esthetician that the Dysport she was placing above my eyebrows was causing my eyes to be more hooded... so I told her what you had suggested about only putting it in the triangle of my "11's" and I was much happier. I think I also need it above my forehead (in the frontalis area) at my hair line to lift my brow area... I've learned so much from your videos... 🥰❤️👑💐

Thank you so much for this info! I've had botox twice. The first time, my brows were SO heavy. Every time I looked up, I could see my brows/lids! I didn't go back until a year later. This last time she went lighter, but it still changed the shape of my brows. I felt like an angry bird character! Thanks to this video, I'll know what to ask for next time. Also, may I ask what you use to exfoliate? I feel like I have my skincare down except for that piece.

Some women dont need it, I meet them daily. i grew up in the sun and am super expressive so I want them for smoother skin. Also, in the before picture where I am dry and have deep lines, I was actually a health coach and at the pinnacle of health eating, very clean and exercising with weight training, so how you eat an exercise doesn’t always reflect the aging on your face.

Also remember if you freeze around the eye, those muscles eventually atrophy so you’re causing some drooping of the eye tissue. I did around the eye and it seemed my eye dropped down at the outer corners. And I had that trench look as well.

I recently just got Botox and she went easy on me and then I went back in two weeks and needed more in my 11’s. I have a deep set line on my forehead and wanted that done too. I honesty feel like it brought my brows down. They feel heavy. So I won’t do the middle of my forehead again. I may do by the hair line like you to give that subtle lift.

I just ordered an at-home IPL and although I know it isn't as strong as a spa IPL, do you think it will help? I was told to get a lip flip but now what you shared has made me second guess.
