You SHOULD Come Here in BGC, Philippines 🇵🇭
Вставка
- Опубліковано 11 гру 2023
- In this video, I wanted to show you an Eco Farm Garden that exists in the BGC area. Some might not know about it, but should. Just near Uptown BGC, there is a thriving green garden with vegetables, fruits, and other plants.
I had no idea it was here until one day when I walked past and saw the fence and thought, this is an interesting setup. So, I stuck around for a few minutes and observed it. I did not expect to find a little garden like this around.
I hope there will be more green spaces like these incorporated into the Metro Manila area. Have you been here?
Come for a weekend stroll around the beautiful and vibrant BGC area.

Kudos to u. I think ur the 1st foreign vlogger feature that agriculture stuff in BGC.. i never thought that place exist there, Usually lot of vlogger only show malls 😅 and building of BGC.
That is true. Because it's more on the outer edge, people don't see it. But there's more to BGC than High Street :)
Eco Garden of BGC, Wow I never Thought that place Exist …. Thanks for sharing Stay safe and God Bless Advance merry Christmas 🎄🎁 ✌️👍👍👍👍👌🙏🤗
Cool spot for sure. Thanks you too!
Thanks Matt, I really enjoyed this video 💙. Kudos to you for showing the ECO Garden in BGC 💚. It’s nice to see a green space like that beside skyscrapers. The fleshy purple skinned flower you pointed out is the Banana blossom, also known as a banana heart. It’s actually edible and it’s used in Filipino dishes. The other one you pointed out is a papaya. The green papaya will slowly ripen. One of my fav dish is Chicken Tinola and it has green papaya with fresh ginger. You can also cook it with same ingredients adding coconut milk.
I agree! Wow, cool plants. Thanks for the info. Sounds like a tasty dish! :)
Thanks for showing this,I didn't know BGC had this, its a nice idea and serves as an inspiration for other cities.ohhh you gain a subscriber on the road 😊
Yes it sure is. Good place to buy some house plants too. :)
Nice One 🌿👌💥😄
👍
Love BGC

thanks! Really wasn't sure what a papaya plant looked like.
That's cool, a mini farm in the heart of the city. Good idea to look up to. 👍👍
Definitely! Makes me want to build my own garden as well haha
❤❤❤
:)
Thats a beautiful community garden farm!!! Good stuff!!! Need that in guam..
Without people stealing the farmers crops
Absolutely. No room for low people like that who are stealing. Gotta help each other :)
@@MattReardonVlogs big ups brotha
Cool vlog by a kewl dude showing novel and definitely some of the coolest corners of BGC 👍
Thanks! Some cool places around
This is another great content. Please also feature Rockwell. Remember when you were on that motorbike and you saw lit up buildings from afar-thats Rockwell.
Oh yes right. Now that I've been to the power Plant mall, I just need to explore the area outside of it more.
@Matt Reardon - That hanging plant you found there is a banana plant and those hanging things are the unripened fruits. The round fruits are papayas.
Oh interesting! I thought it could be a banana tree but was really not sure haha
lol you said COOL 20times! Absolutely that place was cool. As a landscape architecture student, I was inspired by the eco farm and it was super interesting. Grateful for sharing the greenery place and wish you a merry X-mas.
Haha my cool got a little too cool 😎 Glad I could share. Enjoy! :)
That is absolutely a cool place to look around. The green fruit that you’ve been asking what that is a papaya fruit. Love watching your videos. Watching for more. From Vegas
Ahh ok. I never eat papaya and that's why I was confused haha. Thanks for watching!
@@MattReardonVlogs no problem
Just keep going when you vlog here in Manila and I hope you go to other parts of the philippines even if it's just a little your subscribers will increase here in the philippines as long as you keep going there the other vloggers started here on ph but now look at the amount they are already subscribers, everything you do has something in return, it's important, you love what you do, you're safe, you're safe here on ph and the people here are friendly and always smiling
Yes, that is exactly right! I hope to explore more and really spend some time here :)
Visit the bay area sir from Okada to parcal mall and aseana city..
Will do it eventually. So much to see and do in the Metro.
New year countdown in BGC is in central square where the 2 3D billboards is.
Ah yes. I heard. Perfect spot
The most expensive farm in the Philippines. If I am not mistaken the land in BGC cost 500K to 800K per sqm. Forbes Park and Dasmariñas village cost 400-500K per sqm.
Wow! Well, the Eco Farm is sure to maximize what space they have. They're doing it right.
New subs here matt
Welcome and thanks for watching :)
Join the BGC boys, they’re also foreign vloggers like you
Haha yeah there are many in BGC
Matt, have been to BGC Greenway Park? It's a narrow but long greenspace ideal for walking and jogging.
Yes, I found it recently and visited. Coming in a video very soon :)
Since your style of blogging is more "visual" and not much interaction with locals, maybe you should also use drones. I don't know but I guess it adds more appeal if you have aerial views of the place. More viewers for sure . 😊
Have just been checking out some malls and places that people recommended. I plan to interact a lot with people once I begin to travel to other provinces and cities. Actually, my main channel is more for visuals to be honest. But yes, sometimes I lack the bravery to interact 😂
The problem is, BGC is oriented towards the private automobile and private transport.
Going there on public transport
is expensive and takes forever.
Public transport there is poor as well.
If you look around, you will notice the absence of bus stops and, jeepneys. No such thing as subway. And that nice wall?
It literally is an enclave set off intentionally.
In other words it's for rich people.
Right I understand. Well jeepneys aren't aloud in for the fact of their noise/emission pollution. But maybe things will change in the future
poor guy's already running out of content ideas lol. Just go to Baguio already man
Hahaha it's easy to run out of ideas that doesn't involve spending much money. Everyone knows. But yes, soon I need to go. Just need to plan
Baguio is way cheaper than BGC, even the bus fare is just about 500-700 phpdepending on your preference. And it's more interesting than a goddamn mini farm lol @@MattReardonVlogs
I'm really hoping to explore Baguio next. Maybe I'll stay in the area for many weeks and fully deep dive it. People, food, culture, landscapes, etc..
You'll love it, it's one of the go to places for locals for weekenders in the north @@MattReardonVlogs
