It won't replace BGC, it will just be added to the collection of presentable urbanized areas in Metro Manila.
Saw your remark. I think the words "modern" or "upscale" are more appropriate adjectives instead of "presentable".
The Philippines has the most modern mall in the world ……
What will replace BGC is Horizon Manila Reclamation project but we have a stupid president who stopped it. 😊
@@JoeyZee-vs4kr
They won't replace one another. They will just be a collection of modern and upscale urbanized areas in Metro Manila.
@@JoeyZee-vs4kryou’re the stupid one, it wasn’t the president who stopped the reclamation😂
One of my favorite travel blogger turned into a tourist guide in the Philippines. Seems he knows so many things in Metro Manila rather than the ordinary Filipinos residing in the city. Hehe.
Walkability and green spaces are what will make it a hangout place and make people come back again and again. If places are too widespread, it's likely to be a rare once in awhile visit. The Marikina river is a great centerpiece, they need to really take advantage of that and build nicely around it. Think Amsterdam or Chicago.
true. didn't see public transport in the video too
Ngl, I'm really liking your content. It feels like a cut above the rest compared to other Travel/Country Vloggers because you actually explore the rest of the country, including making vlogs about current and future developments in some of the provinces instead of just making vlogs about the women and the typical tourists spots like some foreign content creators do. Anyway, cheers from New York!
no, bridgetowne won't replace bgc. it's smaller, and not ideally located like bgc. bridgetowne will, however, most likely siphon off crowds from eastwood, which is just a kilometer or two down the road on c5.
FYI: The coffee shop you are pointing happens to belong to you friend vlogger from making it happen.
I always support mergims vlog keep vlogging i thot ur back in thailand but tnx for the vlog
*silver lining?*
• opus mall "victor" statue
• sm megamall "time" statue
• double dragon meridian
park "bayani" statue
were all designed by jefrë (a filipino-american sculptor)
he has almost identical-themed silver statue or monument spread across florida
Good to see you again brother ❤ we miss you for a while ❤ ingat!!
Thanks for this video.
It is actually a surprise.
A welcome development.
Ive never been here. But the Opus Mall looks stunning in the inside.. the flooring is one of a kind. Hoping I'll find time to visit Bridgetown. Astonishing❤️👏❤️👏
There is something new at Opus mall. The first branch of Dave and Busters in the Philippines will open there.
The problem w Robinsons is however classy they are in the beginning, they turn pan masa after a few years with their noisy tiangges filling every empty space available. It has been a trend in their developments since the 80s.
That's a plus for me if it keeps the pasosyal pretenders and matapobre people away. Take your kaplastikan elsewhere.
i dont think its a problem i think its great tho, it brings a bridge between elitist and the rest of the people. mas magmumukhang nilalangaw ang place kung di afford ng masa ang mga bagay bagay
no tiangges filling Rob Magnolia
How is pang masa a problem tho
U.S. Malls cannot compete with the shopping Malls of Thailand & the PH. The interior designs of Bangkok & Metro Manila's new Malls are pretty modern with many shops.
Always looking forward to your uploads. Thank you for sharing. Be well, stay safe & take care. 😊
Hi chairman! I thought you said goodbye already in vlogging. We missed you for awhile. 😅
They will connect Bridgetown to Parklinks ,Circulo Verde to Eastwood. In the Future Tiendesitas,Rockwell and Arcovia City will be interconnected as well
Exactly. And my condo is in perfect position to take advantage of that.
How will it be connected, river ferry or footpath, etcetera?
There should be some mass transportation. But nope. They did not plan anything like that.
@@gantenbeinable They're all connected by C5...
Aseana City , Entertainmemt city upto MOA will be the next. But there were many reclamation projects in Manila Bay, that will be the next big thing..
Ortigas and new Aseana city and C5 corridor will be next BGC. LOTS OF NEW PROJECTS
Aseana doesn't have high rise buildings because they just reclaim the land from the sea
@@charliesue8197and to add, that city is somewhat near the airport so high rise buildings are prohibited, am i correct?
We're loving the Philippines, Manila is such a great city but we didn't manage to visit Bridgetown! It'll give us a good reason to head back though! ☺ 🇬🇧 ♥🇵🇭

manila a great city? is this a joke?
@@mackeyboy5442 That's his opinion. If you don't like.... so be it. pinoy crab.
@@RR52517 manila is consistently ranked one of the worst on so many metrics. Crime, traffic, quality of life, pollution, etc. It just simply is not great.
This vlogger is just trying to bait you. You don't want to hear the truth and would rather be comforted by a lie? So be it.
Good to see you again mergim. 👍👍👍👍👍
It looks very promising. Greetings from Australia ❤
Vlogg is life, life is vloggs. In pH you are a star. 😂😂😂😂😂😂
finally an actually high end looking mall from robinsons compared to known as the broken 1900s mall
Happy to see you again in your vlog chairman
Mike of Making it Happen vlog has a coffee Morse branch at the lower level of Opus Mall
Where were you, mr. Chairman? You’ve been absent for so many days! Your payroll will be subject for subtraction! Lol!
There is a MORSE coffee at Opus Mall by the way. The White Bridge on the other side is another Township, The Parklinks from Ayala land. Try to vlog that one as well, the same size as Bridgetowne
Marikina was the place where the Israelis settled when they moved to the Philippines during the holocaust. We welcome them again if they wish to live here or wherever they want to live in the Philippines. Please stay safe. There's no place in this world free of problems anymore. At least the Philippines is better than other places. Even we Pilipinos have to be careful. 😢Take care, folks. God bless.
Welcome back Mr Chair. Hope you had quality respite. We missed you though. Take care.
Nice one again chairman! Mabuhay! 🙏🤙🇵🇭
Bridgetowne is nice but outside, C5 traffic will become more horrible in the years to come. Commuting from other cities will be a hassle coming from other cities. Bridgetowne wasn't acquired by Robinsons, they already owned it. It used to be Litton Mills, CFC URC factory, all under JG Summit. I thought when I was there Litton Mills was huge but never imagined it was bigger. The problem I see in the future is the parking hope they have the foresight to deal it the future.
I thought you were gone... Welcome back, Mergim!
Clark global city is the next bgc
All that land belongs to one person. Dennis Uy.
@@gantenbeinable Sa true! BGC is way too different because it's foreign funded at iba iba ang developer kaya there's so much diversity
Hi Mergim. Have you been to Centris just beside Quezon Boulevard MRT station? That place all the way to the new Solaire Casino Hotel used to be a huge slum area but now it’s full of skyscrapers along EDSA.
I was actually amazed with the transformation.
fantastic video, great to see alternatives to BGC, Makati, Greenwood, etc. thanks!!!😀😀😀😀
You guys very familiar with most places of the Philippines. I ONLY knew Bohol my hometown. But when it comes to Canada where I presently live, I'm not lost I know most of the places .
I'm impressed you noticed the paint.
The problem with these townships like Eastwood or Bridgetown is that they are too small and can get way too fishbowl-like in a Hurry. BGC is very different as it ranges from Uptown to High Street, Forbes, Market-Market, and SM Aura, and we can even include the Mckinley and Venice Grand Canal Mall areas. There is much more diversity. I think the next big deal will be the City of Pearl in Manila Bay.
Good point, but I even though McKinley and Venice is technically part of BGC, I wouldn't include it in your consideration, since it's too far to walk to from central BGC. Also, the estate beside Bridgetowne, called Park Links, will be inter-connected with Bridgetowne, essentially approx doubling its size from an end-user's lifestyle perspective.
Ang pinagkaiba lang bridgetowne may victor statue na iconic landmark while bgc plain lang kelangan pa ng name tag para marecognize
@@evangelinehortense😅 recognizable naman ang BGC kahit walang name tag. pinagsasabi mo
You are small but you want wide or big..huhuh..
I think the plan is to make these townships part of the "C5 Corridor"
So many Malls.Everytime you lived in condo unit. The Malls for people needs are around near.
I wish that was true. there's no decent mall in arca south
@@joannegella9998 duh, you know Ayala Malls is still in the works and will open phase 1 next year, at least it has the Landers there already, the area is still developing just like Bridgetowne, it's not magic, even BGC took 20yrs to looks how it is now.
There will be a ferry station that will connect Bridgetown to Guadeloupe and Escolta stations
Thank you for sharing this place with us, so that we could.visit this place once we come to Manila
Nice and beautiful place
Your food videos are entertaining. 😊
Philippines has a lot of mall but no Olympic sports village. 🇵🇭😕 ..... Imagine this if phil has Sports village with huge Olympic stadium plus big mall philippines will be a huge tourist sports destination 😊
Wala pa nman kasing hinohost na Olympic games ang pilipinas
Only part of Asia that understand you fluently. Everybody waiting for your vloggs. 😂😂😂😂😂
You are spot on…would be nice to see alternate eating options than the same ole same ole! 😢
So nice. thanks for the tour.
Hope they gonna add more trees
yeah, seems to be all concrete
Oh yeah ! Here we go 😮😮😮.Mergim is back 😅😅😅.We miss you Chairman 😊.
6:12 If you want to see different or unfranchised stores or restaurants, it is better not to go to a mall. When in QC, I suggest you visit the area around Maginhawa st. There's a higher chance of seeing artisinal shops or restaurants in such areas as compared to the mall.
...visit the VIP THEATHRE at 5th flr and the Outdoor amenity in 4th flr..
Good to see you back man! Would love to see narrower roads, this would take eons to cross as a pedestrian haha. Either way can't wait to see what this place looks in 10 years!
There’s also new in paranaque - Aseana - The Dream City
That mall & area of Bridgetown has been in construction since pre pandemic, took a long time, Robinsons have to put themselves on a level with the other big township developers...but we welcome these land transformations for the country's added path to progress.
I agree. A shopping place that sets it apart with other is what unique retails and restaurant it has.
That's where my office used to be, before the pandemic. But since the pandemic until now we are working from home. It's nice to see that most of the buildings are now finished.
Long time no vlog Chairman.😅🎉 Wc back!
The C5 Corridor and Alabang will be the next BGC
The city-planner must be an ASOIAF fan!
The design of bridge is snake and the building also.Tatak Rob❤❤❤
Wow new build in Manila
Looks nice but let’s hope the condo prices are less than BGC for they have become so high foreigners can no longer afford them.
Haraya Residences parang 330K per sqm na. It’s a luxury condo. Grabe tlga parang priced na sya sa ganun range eh 4-5 years pa naman turnover. So magkano na sila in 2029? There’s no opportunity for buyers to earn. Parang sobrang overpriced eh ndi pa naman fully developed ung township. Dapat nsa 260K per sqm lang yan. Ndi pa naman BGC levels
It's only problem is that it is located along C5 which has terrible traffic. How do you even go there if you are from the other side of the road? Where is the u-turn slot?
I believe there are 3 major access roads that lead to Bridgetowne, not only C5.
Bridgetowne looks cool thanks for the vlog 😊
Great improvement!
Beautiful 😍
Ah, and Bridgetowne is right on my doorstep, literally a 10-15 minute walk. And there's Eastwood just a bit further up the road. That "ugly" bridge is 4 lanes in each direction, the main artery from Paig out to Antipolo, Taytay and Rizal. But all the hipsters will tell you "BGC is the best!". Sad, really. All malls are just duplicates of all other malls. That's modern capitalism: big brands with their tentacles in every pie.
BGC introduces how the 1st world city will be like
Ignorance to the core. Why would someone dislike malls near them and prefer a far one and crowded at that? Are you addict? 😊
@@JoeyZee-vs4kr WTF are you babbling about? Your comment makes zero sense.
@@QuicknStraight you called malls as bad capitalism and has tentacles. Are you Ok. Don't enter one if that's your view. 😊
@@JoeyZee-vs4kr First up, I didn't say "bad capitalism". It's not good or bad, it just is. That's where the money is: big malls, big brands. Small local brands are never going to compete with big international brands for floor space in big, expensive malls, are they? That's why big brands are found in every big, shiny, expensive (floor space) new malls.
It is what it is. What you or I say isn't going to change it.
Glad you're back mergim! ❤ sorry but a bit worried you haven't uploaded for few days, hope you are ok though! Anyway, love this vlog as usual! Seen many beautiful places in my country because of you! Thanks for showing us! And Love the food review too! Keep safe mergim! Watching you always from Gold Coast Australia!!!❤❤❤🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺
Nice new area in Metro Manila 😮😊👍❤️🎉🎊🇹🇭🇵🇭
yes! I'm so happy ! 🤗❤
Nice tour 😊
Bakit ganun pag Pinoy vlogger nagfeature parang ordinary lang pero pag si Chairman mukhang malaki grand and interesting. hahaha
wooooww Filipinas💕💞💞💞
Opus Mall. 😱👍
Good thing is it's a self sustaining investment and does not depend on China unlike other Asian countries.
its a toned down NuStar Mall in Cebu sans the Casino. its not the first premium mall from Robinsons.
this looks wow... amazing
I hope you visit brand new Parqual Mall.
Robinson’s need catching up! Most of their malls are old and not inviting 😂.
Thank you for sharing this video.
I really love and enjoy your blogs...Mergim💪👏👍♥️
I’ve been enjoying your videos. I am arriving in Manila August 16. Would be great to catch up with you for a coffee.
I think the traffic situation in that area and the rest of Meteo Manila can benefit from AI traffic light monitoring technology so that vehicle buildups can be avoided and allow a more streamlined traffic flow compared to what's being done now during the morning and evening rush hours
i miss your vlog kuya mergime
your camera works is really different compare to other vlogs
First🎉
Aseana by moa is really nice but its hot to walk around. Can’t compare to BGC
those high ceilings reminds me of Hongkong. a few walk from avenue of the stars. Still remember that i rode a taxi cause really dont have idea where to ride the bus haha
The design out side reminds me of me of the urban legend, that one of the is sibling is a half snake half human. The bridge railing, and the golden hexagon on the facade.
...visit the newly opened OPUS MALL..
Remarkable. The slum dwellers along that river have been relocated.
What about the infrastructure? Does Bridgetowne have underground electric and comm cables? Does it have an adequate sewer and flood control system that doesn’t pollute the river. Does it have a waste water treatment plant? The facade may look nice but it’s what you don’t see that matters.
Does it have a subway or any pulic transportaion planned? Nope.
BGC has it all 😁 correct?
Nice mall
nice video thanks
Wow nice caption sir
I live nearby area and I would say it'll just another Eastwood-eque, just a little bigger.
My condo unit is only walking distance to Bridgetown. Still empty. Except the new Opus Mall
im not fan of the victor. it just look like an inflatable balloon. i hope it have some kind of curves and edges like a real sculpture
Up close, it's translucent and perforated to let strong winds pass through, so the statue is more stable, esp. during typhoon season. It also lights up at night.
Dave and Buster's is a USA Arcade franchise... That's new
