I went to a con with some online friends two years ago and I remember the night before the I had to go home they had this hooked up. Never had so much chaotic fun in my life!
I used to play this game for many hours with my cousin as a kid and now as a 31 year old I can appreciate even more how amazing the soundtrack to this game is!! Too much nostalgia 🔥🔥
It's just amazing how they've messed up the series in the GX version. The soundtrack is just garbage in the sequel, a total disgrace to the series! Long live F-ZERO X!
I always got a nice chuckle from the heartwarming Nintendo references in this. It was nice to see James McCloud enjoy racing as a human, and Mr. EAD! Seeing this also makes me sad because we still haven't gotten a new F-Zero in how many years now...?
@@kevintaylor707 Nah, something about manual labor and being too stressed out made playing this hard unfeasible. That's alright though, still good to appreciate skill and effort when it shows up.

Used to play this with my cousin and some other friends, man we played almost every afternoon after school. Every one of us had a favorite pilot so it was always: who's gonna win :) Those were the good old days.
Man who you telling me my cousin and lil brother used to play this everyday after school and the weekends. Good memories good ol days. Now iam 34 with kids doing the same thing lol.

@@shadowfanthememer it's great for the time being (with regular updates as well)... But we mean a REAL installment. Like how Mario recently got Super Mario Bros. Wonder.

I would also agree, the N64 was the best Nintendo gaming system. I'm so glad I was born in 1991 man, I'm 31 years old now but I'm so glad I got to play all of these classic games!

Absolute masterpiece. Everyone loves GX, but this is my favorite in the series, easily. GX is the best looking one for obvious reasons, but it was lacking the personality and Nintendo EAD's touch. F-Zero GX is techno, F-Zero X is metal. I'll take the latter, every time.

I think one reason this game got picked on by critics could also be that Wipeout by that time already impressed the world with it's speed and Euro techno soundtrack and also set in a much "Cooler" Cyberpunk setting
I was just looking for a comment on this specific track. After the first time I barely landet on the track as the only one who made the turn. I stopped and wondered wtf just happened 😯 They all flew out the track 🤣 That was 1999

For a Nintendo game, it has the most metal soundtrack ever.
True
I love that.

F-Zero X's unparalleled sense of speed and tight controls make for one of the best arcade-style racers Nintendo ever created.

More than 30 Characters and many locations.
F-Zero is exactly how I want my racing games to be; going so fast that just slight nudge of the stick could very well kill you. Fantastic game.
Yes. This game cares absolutely nothing about your feelings. Just "be good or else".
100%. Nothing comes closer to that besides this and GX
