I love that Alastor is the only one who DOESN'T swear... much. Even Charlie in the actual show swears from surprise or frustration. But when Alastor swears, you know he means business.
It’s driving me crazy and I’m really sorry but, either delete the “before” and replace it with “when” or change the “weren’t” to “were” and delete the “yet”. I’m really sorry, it just kept whispering to me and lingering in my brain
There's a theory that when he walks with his left foot first it's because he stepped into the room he overdosed in with his right foot. Or maybe it's completely meaningless and people are trying to wring meaning out of it.
To answer your question at the end: sinners and demon royalty have immortal souls and can only be permanently killed by angelic weapons. Which is why it was kind of a "duh" moment when it was revealed that angels could be killed by using their own weapons against them. 'Killing' a soul without angelic weapons results in a painful respawn process, so part of the suffering in hell is literally dying over and over (and also explains why V's are so casual about killing their staff for fun. One of the hints to this lore is when Velvette is complaining that Valentino "Tore apart my best model, and you know the show can't wait for that bitch to pull herself back together.")
Some background: Production for the pilot begun in 2017 between Vivienne, a group of freelance animators, and the help of her patreon followers. After the release and success of the pilot in 2019, rather than making more pilots to help pitch the show, she got more support for her team by creating a spin off internet show with Brandon Rodgers, the one who voices Katie Killjoy in the show and internet star, called Helluva Boss. Its own pilot episode was released a month after the Hazbin pilot was released. This lead to the foundation of their own indie animation company called SpindleHorse Toons and finally in August 2020, A24 Studios, a company infamous for supporting independent filmmakers, picked up the Hazbin for production. Most of the characters went through redesigns and were recasted for a more musical inclined cast, much to the disappointment of the fandom. About 4 years after the release of the pilot, Hazbin Hotel finally became a series on Amazon Prime.
While initially disappointed at the recast of the voice actors, after watching the series I can say overall it was a good choice. No disrespect to the original cast but heading them again it really does feel like "best we can get" save for Angel Dust and Alastor.
I hope you check out Hazbin's "Addict" music video and Helluva Boss next. It's in this same universe and just as entertaining. Just make sure you start with the pilot.
- Charlie Morningstar is voiced by Jill Harris (she voices Noelle from Black Clover) while Elsie Lovelock did her singing voice for the pilot but she has also voiced Uzi from “Murder Dones” - Vaggie is voiced by Monica Franco - Angel Dust is voiced by Michael Kovach who along with Elsie both voice the main characters in Murder Drones as N - Alastor aka The Radio Demon & Overlord is voiced by Edward Bosco while his singing voice is Gabriel Brown - Husk is voiced by Mick Lauer - Nifty is voiced by Michelle Marie - Cherri Bomb is voiced by Krystal LaPorte - Sir Pentious is voiced by Stamper while his minions the Egg Bois are voiced by Joe Gran - Katie Killjoy is voiced by Faye Mata (she also voices Aqua from KonoSuba) - Tom Trench is voiced by Joshua Tomar
I went to animation school with a handful of the animators for the pilot. One of them graduated before I did and then was my new animation teacher at a school I transferred to. Lots of awesome artists that worked on the pilot and it really helped kick off their stuff too!
Nope Angel Dust doesn't have breasts. It's chest fluff and he makes it more pronounced for sex appeal. In the first episode on Prime he even acknowledged the fact that everyone thinks they're tits but they're not.
After this, I highly recommend you check out Helluva Boss. It's set in the same universe as Hazbin Hotel. It's amazing.

30:06 sinners are immortal (Alastor, Angel dust, etc), high ranked demones are eather immortal (Lucifer + deadly sins) or semi immortal (Charlie + Goetia family) and lower ranked hell borns are mortal (imps, succubas, hell hounds) All immortal and semi immortal residents of hell can only be harmed and killed by angelic weapons and holy ropes
You definitely should react to helluva boss! And the best part is the episodes are completely copyright free... The songs, not to sure. But a reaction to that would be more then amazing!
I love that such a show was able to create other possibilities, and now has two well running series! I know I can't be the only one to say this, but if you enjoyed Hazbin, I think you'll really enjoy Helluva Boss! It's got a bit more grit I would say, and it's still going, a new episode is supposed to come out this month, but I think that would be up your alley. It has a pilot episode, however it's not on the official playlist, so if you plan on starting it, I would recommend the Pilot and Episode 1 back to back. Those episodes are roughly maybe 15-20 minutes long.
Oh yeah, you missed the very end, there was an Easter egg scene at the end of the credits, Pentious survived. Watch it, it's very funny and it explains why he's in the main show.
"Why did it sound like you hurt your phone when you pressed call mom?" Dang good question. That three tone sound hurts. Back when landline phones were a thing, That three tone sound is what you would hear before "We're sorry, the number you dialed is no longer in service. Please check the number and try again" Charlie didn't even wait to hear that message. She just started talking to her mom on a line where the call didn't go through or even go to voicemail. No one was ever going to get that message, but Charlie kept talking as though Mom was going to hear it and do something. Goodness, we need more Charlies in this world. (Hug your kids, folks)
This pilot was better than the entire first season. It was a great first season, but it does not live up to this pilot. It gets an 'A' for effort though.
Real, the writing of the first season could have been so much better if it matched up to the pilot. They tried to fit too much into the official show but I hope the second season is better
@@Kitsune986 they knew that they were getting season 2 though, so there was absolutely no point in them rushing any of the details. And Charlie and Vaggie are so boring and this show is meant to "femal focused" but I don't care about any of the female characters. Even Helluva Boss is almost as rush even though Viv can make as many episodes as she wants but chooses not to. The Angel vs Sinners fight should have been season 2 cause it was just so unsatisfying. You're just disagreeing because you're one of those fans who are overly obsessed and quite literally clothes their ears and eyes to flaws and criticism
The Amazon series has nothing on the pilot. The voice acting is better, the effects on Alistors voice is better, the art is better. I can't take the series seriously since it doesn't live up.
I love that Alastor is the only one who DOESN'T swear... much. Even Charlie in the actual show swears from surprise or frustration.
But when Alastor swears, you know he means business.
That is very true. And I really love Alastor because he doesn't do all the swearing; he is just creepy
There was a speculation that the reason Angel was playing with the window in the limo is because he died before those weren’t invented yet
It’s driving me crazy and I’m really sorry but, either delete the “before” and replace it with “when” or change the “weren’t” to “were” and delete the “yet”. I’m really sorry, it just kept whispering to me and lingering in my brain

Is it because Angel died in around 1920?

@@JSage90 As someone who listened to Hunicast, I still miss the old voices, but the new ones are good
I love how Allistor has old school radio sound effects in his speech
No, Angel says in episode one during his rant about himself "I got the chest fluff everybody thinks is tits," so it's just extremely sexy fluff
For an indie animation, it looks insane. So glad it got its show in Prime.
We will miss those Hazbin Hotel pilot actors but the new new Hazbin Hotel actors are amazing.
This is incredible how a pilot of a show made hundreds and thousands of fans and a new community crazy. Thanx for the reaction . Until the next one 💜

Angel has chest fluff but another of people think that he has books, but it's just fluffy fur

23:59 if you listen closely, you can hear a sliver of Charlie singing " Inside of Every Demon is a Rainbow " in Alastor's random radio signals.
Hellova boss would be a great shower to follow up with vizi, it’s a whole series she already has and is currently being released on her UA-cam
7:35 if he’s talking about Verbalase I’m going to cry.
Sinner regenarate themselves if they aren't killed by Angelic Weapons. Sir Pentious pretty much put himself together after that lmao
BTW, Amazon didn't pick up the show until it was made and needed distrabution, A24 picked up the shows and developed it
Aw, you missed the stinger at the end, in which Sir Pentious crawls out of the crater left by Alastor destroying his airship.
Fun fact - that opening song is an *actual* song from *1917*
They show a bit more after the credits. It will answer your question.
