Great saw, love mine. Initially was worried about no ac adapter, but after 6 months of use, my 15ah battery works perfectly
Very helpful!
Especially showing that little hiding place for the tool that is used to change the blade and tighten screws--would have definitely misplaced or lost it if I hadn’t watched this video. Thank you!
Thanks for watching!
Hey Doug the DCS780 Is a 120volt Mitre - Its the DHS790 that was the dual battery unit you were probably referring to.
Amazing video! Well explained and show every aspect clearly. DREAM tool. Thank you Very much. 👍
Thank you!
Excellent review and tutorial!
Thank you!
The bevel adjustment needs work, it won’t hold , no matter how hard you turn the knob
Specifically between stops. I will wait for the next generation for this saw before buying.
Looks like a nice saw I have the old model with dual batteries I wish they would have made a 10-inch saw instead of the 12
Como repararla creo que no llega corriente porque le coloco la batería y no enciende nada
The thing I don’t understand… is they improved several things (I don’t care about the crap clamp I don’t use a factory clamp anyways)… but WHY the diminished cut capacity?! The corded 780 and the old 120v cut 7 ½ crown nested and 14” crosscut… why did we drop it to 6 ½” and 12”???
Dust collection is still awful with the 60v extractor
How many of you out there are buying this saw to replace your old 790 after it popped and shorted out? The power of the 120 volt was king, this 60 volt feels cheap after using the 790 for years. I’m still angry about losing my old saw, so I will wait until I have used this for awhile before doing a review of my own - but you can be guaranteed it will be honest.
I have a new never used 790. I haven’t had a need to use it over 1 year. It was on back order for months when I ordered it and before this version was released. I heard that using the 120v adapter kills the motor. Did you use your with only the batteries or with the 120v adapter?
@DanielPerez-mb7wm you trying to sell that thing, mine was recently stolen.
Dos dewalt make a power adapter for this incase your batteries are dead?
They do not make one for this newer saw. They made it for the older Flexvolt saw model DHS790. That adapter doesn't work with this newer saw
@@toolnutare they going to make one?
They have not stated if they were going to@@dennisorlov875
The camera guy is killing me
The clamp is absolutely garbage design steel knurl against aluminum is a no go! Should at least had a set screw, which i might do to mine! But all in all great saw very accurate.
Are there Festool style hold down clamps that are compatible with this miter saw?
The DeWalt dolts should've equipped this unit with the 120VAC plug-in option JUST LIKE THE DHS790. They want to FORCE customers to buy more batteries!! I'm skipping this model...
