Very, very important messages for me in the particular place I'm in with my music at the moment. Thanks a ton. This and Part 2 helped me get over the hump I was stuck on.
I been doing some amateur marketing for my family member that's a music artist asap cherry my down fall is that I don't have and never use social media just started using twitter and Instagram watching videos on them my question is do other artist really get famous because of these social media I'm a UA-camr I believe that's where the fame comes from???? Right people don't respond to me on social media so what's the point of it?? Also just discovered you last month I watch at least two to three videos a day they help in many ways
So basically, be fake and inauthentic by not reveilung who you truly are, in order to create an artificial image to cater to/please a particular audience
That is a formula that works for many celebrities but you don't have to be fully fake. You can stay true and just try to brand yourself by standing out and having signatures making people recognize and remember you.
Like Alex said, you don't have to be fake to brand. That is a total misconception. But you do have to choose how you want people to recognize you. I don't know you so you may be different, but most people don't dress or behave the same in church as they do in the club as they do in a job interview (not being fake, just presenting different attributes of yourself in the appropriate places). So just as your personal brand is different between the club and the job interview, your business brand will be slightly or completely different depending on the audience. And just as you change through time, your brand can change through time.
Awesome, you are adding value!! Please keep it up! I will subscribe..content is key!
