Rishe Irmgard Weitzner, a duke's daughter, has a secret: she died at the age of 20 and returned to the moment five years prior when her engagement was called off. She has already experienced this time loop six times and lived out those five years a different way each time, as a merchant, a doctor, a maid, a knight, and more. Now, on her seventh go-around, she's determined to live to a ripe old age and spend it relaxing. But the moment she flees the castle with that decision in her heart, she runs into the infamously cruel crown prince of a rival kingdom, Arnold Hein. He happens to be the one who killed her during her life as a knight, but now, he seems to have taken a bizarre liking to her... and begs her to become his wife. Thus, in order to stay alive and prevent a war, Rishe utilizes her previous experiences to kick off her seventh life as the bride of an enemy nation's crown prince.

I like how she didn't even consider just using the door. I guess it makes sense that Arnold assumed she punched through a wall to escape prison.
I think it was symbolic that Arnold instinctively dropped his sword to catch Rishe, he later revealed he was in battle mode because when he saw the fireflies, he saw them as flames of war on his country.
We need a 2nd season to see this payoff.
I think is symbolizes that he ready to end his fearsome warrior career because he wanna be with Rishe and she more dear to him than his ambitions.

A second season would only cover Volumes 3 & 4, and they still aren't married by that point. We'll see what happens in Volume 5 when it's released in English this Thursday (or tomorrow for those of you on Eastern Daylight Time).
It is so difficult to write a captivating and compelling narrative without 'action' in these anime shows. I commend the writers and producers. This show is exceptional.
Its a visually stunning show mainly because how she is drop dead gorgeous and him too, but the narrative is weak and the plot is not that good, its just a cliche of romantic tropes, she is miss perfect, you wont see a single bad quality in her character and is the typical cold male lead with a scarred heart

He's more like, "Seriously?" He knows she can do it, but underestimated how consistently she can be impulsive for it so casually. lol
Let’s hope a season 2 comes I only think the first season only covers volume 1 to 2
