I just wanted to say Thank you! When my wife and I got this in the mail we were so excited until I took it all out and was overwhelmed with everything. After about 30mins of trying to figure it out I was ready to give up until we came across your video. Very knowledgeable, very detailed and easy to follow! Thank you so much, you have saved us! ☺️👍🏻
Did the airline attachment strap ever obtain FAA certification/exemption or whatever? I notice that it has been a little over a couple years since this video was made.
Hi Darlene! The Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards and Test Procedures do not address “harnesses” as a category of child restraint so the manufacturer have no standard to test to. However, the manufacturer have authorization from Transport Canada to sell in Canada under CMVSS 213.3 “Special Needs”. Visitors to Canada are permitted to use child restraints certified to U.S. FMVSS 213. NHTSA and Transport Canada are in the process of further harmonizing standards to be as aligned as possible. Essentially, the RideSafer is legal. Hope this helps! Safe travels :)

The waist of my almost 4 year old seems good, but there is some room in the should straps. Is that ok? It’s a small.
I didn’t get a neck cushion what do I do to get one
I think that it’s meant to be purchased separately. Mine didn’t come with one either
