What amazes me is watching this film grow from something exciting and interesting and entertaining to a six (6) episode series even more exciting, interesting and entertaining. It also appears to have a message about the fall of Democracy or the fall of a Republic and the rise of Tyranny. Enlightening and Fun.
Every time I see a clip of Luke returning home to find his uncle and aunt killed, I think of the fan made film Star Wars:Troops and it makes me laugh.

i got involved to a starwars binge watch lately and i got to the point where i was trying not to fall asleep. i failed yet it seems i got most of the scenes so i guess i didn't miss any important ones.

When I was young it was good at selling the what is that turn the ship around flying upon an unknown object. They didnt make the connection between the plans and the death star until they already escaped

@@sabir5596 I've seen Ep4 a bunch of times so when I watched this recap I was able to easily recall what happened, enabling me to move on to the movies after. If you're on the same boat as me I'd say go for it. If you haven't seen them a bunch of times and/or don't recall what happened at all or if you just haven't seen them at all I'd recommend watching them all. They're great movies.
@@sabir5596 Yes. The movies are mostly fluff. The new movies (e 7,8,9) make even less sense though. So really, don't expect much "understanding".

I only watched this because I had to do it for school
So OBI is meeting luke for the first time at the scene 1:33 ; even thought he's been living on the same planet as luke ? In revenge of the sith , obi delivers luke to his aunt and uncle and then stays on the planet to watch over him.
Technically true, he lived far away from them in the rocky hills.

I didn't think this was all that great a movie when it came it. The hype took me to the theaters more than anything else. Princess Leia's hairdo reminded me of hamburger buns. Then that bar scene where Obiwan is negotiating with Han Solo looked like the reject cast from the muppets. Don't ever cast a movie in an ugly desert! Really, the only reason why this franchise could go on was the sequel was better than the original, with the exception of Yoda -another misbegotten muppet. John Williams music brought epic bravado to every moment I was thinking, Lucas has got to be kidding me.

obiwan didnt allow himself to be killed. He turned into mostly mediclorians, and also a butterfly. A jedi butterfly. Not many people know that.
