    You're a freaking hero!! I have asthma so I HAVE TO HAVE recirculated air. I've been suffering with mine for a year and it just occurred to me to fix it myself. I'm gonna go do it right now!! THANK YOU!!

      Be sure that your model of Yaris has an air filter. My 2008 model did not come with one. Later models had one. You have to remove the glove compartment - easy. Then slip an air filter for the AC unit in there. It looks like a flat white squarish filter. Since mine was missing, the air suction for AC sucked up a bunch of paper receipts into this area and started rustling around. I had to dig them out of there. The cheap way they make cars!
      Laurel, lets fix your asthma. In most cases the body has asthma issues and sinus blockage all from build up of toxins.
      1. Exercise to get circulation moving. Swimming and Cardio are key.
      2. Sleep early and deeply and long enough. Ensure 7-8 hrs sleep starting 9 pm.
      3. Eat the right foods.
      4. Stay away from sugar and starch, wheat and dairy (unsweetened yogurt is fine).
      5. Boost levels of Vit B complex and also try taking Adrenergize. Take Vit B 100 mg at 8 am with food, a Multi Vit like Source Naturals Mega One w/o iron at noon, and another Vit B at 2-3 pm. Space them apart or you will feel dizzy and nauseous. Take Adrenergize as per label for 1-2 months. Take Vit Bs for 6 mos to a year. You can also get Vit B shots for quick relief. Your adrenal glands feed on Vit Bs so when they are low, adrenals are low. which affect the Thryroid gland and your immune system. You will find as your Vit B levels rise and Adrenals get a boost, all sinus disappears, seasonal allergies disappear, and asthma conditions improve.
      Fixing your diet is key to solving asthma issues. So is sleep! Eat much less of everything. Stay the heck away from sugar and starch. Start fresh juicing. Fast if you can. This will bring the body back in to balance. Asthma is one indicator body is out of balance. It should not exist. I know this works. I cured my own chronic sinus, seasonal allergies and asthma myself. Good luck!

    It took me a while to take off the covers. I did it in about 35 minutes. Not bad for a senior woman. Feel like a bad ass!

    Wow and thanks! The recirc/fresh air switch had come loose on my Yaris and this video was perfect. I also had to remove the glove compartment door to get to the bellows/diverter that the switch activates. That bellows was blocked by an loose electrical cable. A zip tie and 10 minutes of disassembly/assembly and you just saved me a $100+ at the dealer. Thanks!

    Brilliant! Thank you so much. Done in 5 minutes. Although I had to loosen the 4 screws around the radio /cd unit (2006 Yaris, older type sound system) to get the bottom bit out.

    Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have a 2007, but the instructions worked perfectly for me. I used a tiny prybar to loosen the surround because I don't have much fingertip strength. Super easy!

      @p2edwards 2 роки тому +1

      Yes, thank you!! Basically the same instructions worked on our 2007 Yaris Sedan. I didn't need a prybar but I used a Phillips screwdriver to remove the stereo panel.
