I dunno about you guys but i dont pound on the dash or the door looking for squeakage. When driving there are no noises or rattles. Also the dash is leather and if you have ever sit on a leather couch you know that it will make noise. Very happy with the quality of my 23 Denali Canyon. 17k miles. You are right this truck has basically perfected the infotainment system. Best available on any vehicle made imo. Also not possible to compare the 3.6 car engine to the 2.7. The 2.7 tows better than the 6.2 even.. not the 3.0 however. Good review overall
Unfortunately the only way to translate the shortcomings on video is by making such exaggerated motions, otherwise it would be hard to tell what our issue with the build quality is. That being said, all these faults have been noticed by us during regular use - we merely push so hard on it to make it obvious on video. And thank you kindly! Glad you like the review, and we always appreciate to hear the thoughts of actual owners!

Thanks guys, this review saved me from buying one of these POS's. The new Tacoma is STILL TOP DOG! TRD Sport Premium 6ft bed....checks all the boxes and drives AMAZING!
Surprised you mentioned the Frontier. The interior is very outdated, no ventilated/cooled seats, heavy steering and worse resolution I've seen in a backup camera.
Love my '24 at4 so far. I actually liked the AT4 interior better than the Denali. A compareable AT4 Sierra is a 23k jump here in Canuckistan, the 2.7 is a better option than the 5.3 these days and the 6.2/5.3 lifter issues are still plauging GM. the "midsize" is now the same size full size trucks were 10-15 years ago, full size trucks have gotten so big they can be a pain to park and navigate cities, the twins can tow 7700 lbs which is best in class for a mid size, and fuel economy isnt terrible for a truck with that much torque on 87 octane. Toyota is having reliability issues, ranger feels much narrower inside, the new Frontier is the only decent competition on the horizon. Everyone is cutting corners these days and with the tarrifs protecting overpaid union jobs stuff like the BYD Shark will nevber come here. I still dont get the light switch complaints, every car ive had the last 20 years had auto headlights and never touched them
Glad you're enjoying the AT4! We're testing the Ranger next month so we're eager to see how it compares! As for the headlight controls, we are of the opinion that no basic safety system should be hidden inside a screen or menu. Infotainments can, and do, freeze or glitch out causing you to not be able to access essential controls. If you happen to have switched your lights manually (which many people do judging by how many people we see driving with their auto lights off at night), it can potentially keep you from turning the lights back on. And I mean there is plenty of space in the cabin. The only reason why GMC decided to put the controls in the infotainment is to save $3.
Turbo lag, crappy interior, $50K+ price tag. I was ready to buy one when it first made its debut (I have a 2019), but I think I'll have to check out some other options. Hard plastic at that price point???? WTF??
Do you think a midsize truck at this price makes any sense, or would you rather slightly adjust your budget and buy a Colorado or Silverado? 🤔
I used to love GMC cars but Ford Raptor R truck opened my eyes 👀
The Raptor R ruined us all 🤤😂
so it should when its MSRP is 3x a cayon and 4x with dealer markups
I had a 2017 Colorado, There was a lot of quality control issues I love the look of the trucks, but dont think I would buy a GM truck again
We're going to test the new Colorado soon... hopefully the quality is better than in this Canyon!
I own this truck and it has been fantastic.
Glad you're liking it! The Canyon does a lot of things really well

Are you guys 5’2”? lol y’all make the canyon look huge
Nah we just filmed from far away down a sloping hill, essentially elevating the Canyon visually 😅😂
Refreshing to see an honest review! The Canyon also doesn't have homelink.

Appreciate the feedback and glad we could help! We haven't been in the new Tacoma yet, but hope to do that early in the new year 👍🏻
Good luck on getting the airbag to work.

Anyone can find things that are not perfect when you have that mindset, even with a million dollar vehicle.
Correct, but we feel they're important to point out so people can make an informed decision.
It has the best infotainment system out of any vehicle out there. And for the Ford raptor boring interior. Motor is just like a diesel but gasoline.

Quality decreases as prices rise.
