Vanity/Denise Matthews was always a stunningly beautiful Black woman, but her conversion to Christ just enhanced her beauty all the more!!! She was a favorite of mine when I was a kid. "Created by Prince AND Satan" LOLLLLL. Denise/Vanity was my Baby back then... I loved her.. I just loved everything about her. She was the most gorgeous person I'd really ever seen. And EVERYONE loved her. Finding out all that she went through was so sad for me. I hated that for her. I came out of surgery in Feb that day..looked at my phone from the hospital bed, to a text from my friend that said: Vanity died! I was crushed.
God is able won't He do it ,God knows each and everyone before the womb , cry out to him Jesus is real . He is patiently waiting, but don't let Him wait too long because tomorrow might be to late, it belongs to none us . 🙏
I'm confused...I thought she overdosed and got saved in 1994 but apparently this was in 1993 according to the speaker on stage....so did denise get saved and overdose in 1993 instead? I need to read the freaking book man....
She overdosed in 1987 and 1994. She lost ONE kidney in 1987. She supposedly got saved but was still into Crack and overdosed I think Fall of 1994. She was instructed by Jesus to do things when she was unconscious in a spiritual encounter. She later in her life went back to her sinful ways and left 2-15-2016.

@@theotingz4629 She lost her first kidney in 1987 and blew her second one in 1994 which led her having renal failure the second time. She wasn't smart enough to stop when she had one kidney left and ended up needing dialysis after 1994. Stupid chick went BACK to CRACK before she "died" also. One stupid person!

I understand now that she lost 2 kidneys in 1994 that's what SHE said plus she got a kidney transplant in 1997 when she was fully saved because she knew that god was watching her. The drug addiction was a disease illness that she had from genetics her father and mother abused drugs and nothing like that is easily to just stop you have to go to rehab etc., but don't call her stupid when she was dealing with something far more than what you could ever dealt with in your life

She was more than just Black. She was more German than anything else. Her father was Black/Hawaiian/Native American. Her mother was German.

She was half black ( her dad was black) and her mom was white mixed with something else right?
