I'm a result of her ministry. She ministered to me from 2014-up to her passing. Spiritual awakening revealed she led me to salvation 6months after she passed

@@Toni-id2pv My pastor found himself on a donor recipient list. It saved his life fifteen years later and who knows how many people converted and were won to Christ.. and all on account of him accepting a transplant.

I just love her. She was uniquely and beautifully herself. She was not trying to fit a mold or do a stiff interview. She was full of the Holy Spirit with fire and joy! It warms my heart to know that she is with Jesus.
Denise has a beautiful light to her. Vanity was dark and a lonely soul. I love both. But Denise made a choice to end Vanity because she was not respected as that person. I liked her with short hair. She was an amazing woman RIp

The thing I admired most about her was that she took responsibility for her past and asked god to help her heal and be healed. A lot of people just blame and expect someone to bail them out. *This* was the real Denise that they hid under the makeup and clothes and ‘image’. She was at her core, a smart, funny, amazing person -so missed in this world💐

I’m 6yrs younger than Denise. I loved her as Vanity and at first I thought she’s just saying she found Jesus and mocked people like her. I might not go to church a lot but do read the Bible and watch some Christian channels. For Denise to drop her career even the ones that would make her money is not something you’d see everyday. Money is the root of all evil. She was struggling and hated herself as Vanity. God gave her a chance to live 22+yrs longer and speak the word of God. RIP. I miss you and know you’re in a good place now 🙏

The Vanity persona was not bad, the entertainment industry tells females to be dress sexy. The same with many magazine pictures of females.
As a child of the 80s I grew up on Vanity, and as a child never knew what she was going through behind the scenes. She is one of the few people who can STILL minister to me. I respect her testimony and her journey.
Her spirit is why prince fell in love with her and could never get over her . She was a Trail Blazer

Can't believe she's no longer with us. So young to pass. I also have kidney disease, I'm 70, and wish she could have received a kidney transplant to give her more years.
She did get a transplant back in 97. But her health declined after that and she died from peritonitis.

While she was an evangelist, Prince was going door to door with the Jehovah witnesses doctrine and extensive Bible studies with Larry Graham during this time in era.
She is on FIRE for the Lord. I have attended church most of my life but have never felt what she's feeling. The closest I get is when the hymns move me.
Normally you can feel like her when you escape a really bad state and come out of it stronger, better, wiser etc. It's not the church that gives it to you, it's coming from within. And she explains that she didn't look elsewhere in the outside world to be saved, she knew it was coming and she waited for it with gracious anticipation.

Many people also need to read psychology books and/or talk to psychologists. Many people in America have isues becaause they were abused in childhood(sexually or mentally or verbally or emotionally, grew up with one or both parents, etc.

I’ve know people like her, Jesus this, Jesus that and it turns people off more than anything and they just think you got problems. Christianity isn’t some emotional rollercoaster. We are to be doers of the word, sober minded and present the gospel in a clear manner. That said, she seems like she’s on something.

Every time I see her on an interview post-heart attack, she seems to be saying random non sequiturs (and throwing in an "amen?" at awkward moments). It even seems to make interviewers uncomfortable. Hard to believe she was drug free at this time...
