- Right after a little breather, you're lobbed head first into the flashing red bowels of these halls. The colors are jarringly vibrant, albeit homogeneous. The architecture is agitating, and the residents are ravenous. In the midst of this, the alarms ring and wail rhythmically. Cheering you on with shrill shrieks and bellowing buzzes. As if they're narrowly guiding you to the cold yet refreshing light. By the skin of your teeth, you must RUN!
THIS right here is my favorite song I've done for this game! I had an absolute blast throughout the entire process (except mixing all these God forsaken layers), and I'm so happy with how it turned out. I did my best to find a balance between something chaotic yet fluid. Something that flows, with the grace of someone stumbling for dear life. Fancy and I had to bear with each other and create a very precise music system, so that the various song-loops could play & transition in sync with the alarms at all times. The entire sequence has... 8 audio files! I have no idea what to call this genre of music... DnB-metal-break-step? Panic-core?

Never in my life did I think a song from a Backrooms game would BANG THIS HARD! I find myself returning back to this level time after time just to listen to this absolute banger of a track.
Fun fact, the doors that slam open in this level are almost perfectly synced to the song itself, especially the beginning part. Fantastic work, Insomnic. Your work won't go unappreciated.

Genuinely one of the best soundtracks I’ve ever heard in a game. Massive well done for this absolute banger, it really makes the Hotel Chase that much better! Also love the added bits of other soundtracks and the Skin Stealer voice lines.

Really good job on this one. While playing I actually thought the skinstealer lines were from actual skinstealers in the level, so every attempt at the level I tried to avoid the spots that I thought "alerted them". Also, it's very clever using the EAS sound effect as well as the main theme motifs. I am a sucker for things like that.

DUUUDE I had such a fun time incorporating those three elements! Yessss, I was hoping the skin stealer lines would throw people off lol. Not only were they just to spice things up, but they were also to kinda gaslight the player and question things. Because this is a very irrational & hectic song! As well as the momentarily quiet moments where the theme song chimes in, only to be abruptly obliterated by the guitars, pianos, panpipes, bagpipes, and breakcore drums. (Yes I used bagpipes in this song)

Bro i love this track. Me and my friends started dying laughing when we realized the Skin-Stealer "Hey" was part of the song because we thought there were skin stealers coming out of the doors. We were just too scared to turn around.

How does a horror game, about the Backrooms no less, manage to have music that slaps so hard? Maybe it's just me, who loves instrumental songs with loud/fast drums and bass, but this is perfect for !-! I swear I've been listening to this on repeat for the past few days lol. I love how you made some Ultrakill-core (?) type song, and still managed to make it fit into ETB. You're one of the goats of making Ost's, seriously, great job on this!

Okay this whole song is a banger but I wanna give special shoutouts to the ‘blue sections’- it’s clearly a break in the storm, but the underlying anxiety of the track is still so strongly there. Like even if it’s safe you can feel the red right around the corner.

I love this track so much! I loved the idea of putting the skinwalker lines in the song. It scared my friends so much when we were on this level. I also like the blue version of the song a lot! Hoping to see "You Day!" come out soon. I love that song. It will definitely drain someone's sanity lol.

This playing in a horror game might look out of place but this is where ins0mic's musical wisdom came into play (like the whole ost). When you still get scared af while this is playing in the level, you know both Fancy and ins0mic did some real good job.

My god, I absolutely loved the OST while playing the game, the absolute rush you get and feel as you run for it trying to find the right exit out of there! Best run sequence ever!

The pure adrenaline I get from this song is amazing, I don't even have to be playing the game to feel the adrenaline rush!

First thought after messing around in hotel chase (no idea what we were doing) this was my first thought, amazing ost HUGE improvement over the previous parts.

I remember my first experience with this level, I was with 2 buddies and when this started playing I know this was gonna be a fun level, thank you for this banger.
Holy Crap this is such a unique piece. It incorporates chaos so well while being a coherent piece of music. It is uncanny, out of tune, and wrong sounding but it does it in a way that is somehow enjoyable. I love this song!!! Amazing work.

this one is my favourite i just love how you implemented diffrent OSTs and skin-stealer lines (mabye even other entity roars) also the blue hallways being much calmer (in the OST) everything just fits the level really well.

dude i just finished the game today, and i absolutely loved every second of it. the combined frustration of trying to figure out the puzzles and dying an insane amount of times while trying to do so was what made this game so enjoyable. Like it wasnt annoying to the point where I had to log off. that's not easy to pull off in puzzle horror games honestly. HUGE props!

This is an incredibly lovely song that really came out of left field. My friends and I kept saying how much it slapped, even though we kept dying and fighting over the chainsaw lol. But the music made it pretty bearable.

My favourite bits are when the skinstealers and other entities roar/speak. I've heard other composers do this, but this track solidifies that satisfying feeling of that perfect beat, I always feel weird when I compliment music composers because I am IN NO WAY capable of even making a demo, but great job! Love your music btw!

This became one of my favorite levels just because of the epic music.
My favorite part about the song is not simply bc it's intense, but also tries to sound very ethereal, something thats clearly more different than the usual. it feels like there was a bunch of experimenting with rhythm and additions to the song, which makes it feel more alien :P
I searched far and wide for this music and it never dissapoints. I absolutely love how the content creators ive seen play this level all scream in horror while being in an intense chase scene but cant help laughing and enjoying the music placed into the level. Very well done indeed

13/10 song side theres something i *REALLY* love about the endlessly rotating and scrolling hallway visual, it just shows the absolute lunacy and anomalous nature of the backrooms, especially when it turns blue, as if you think you found safety, then it flashes back n forth to the original hallway before fully returning, showing the true nature of the Backrooms and that its unyielding in its hostility and confusion!
This song makes the level in the backrooms alot better thank you. Love this song ❤

This was such an amazing experience in game, hearing my friends scream with this soundtrack and the blue light safe zones was a rollecoaster of emotions and it made it even better with the mimics when we got scared and ran the other way and died.
