You either squirt fuel right into the back of the carb, can blow in the vent line to fill the carbs or dump a little fuel straight down the cylinder. Stator ohms specs for the 1050 are 435-445 & 22-25. It probably makes 190-205hp. As previously stated: Get a hold of Mike Miller in Monroe, MI for a complete water pump rebuild kit.
I love the nostalgia and i still got a old 96 formula ss 670. But i really dont enjoy riding vintage sleds like i do vintage motorcycles. Rider forward design makes snowmobiling so much more natural
I got a cutler 1050 as well, its in a older 95 chassis but looking for a newer chassis to out it on, haven't even been able to ride it yet have a little more work to do to it
@@OldSchoolArcticCats a guy I used to drag race against had his own Arcticcat dealership. He had a 3 cylinder that had the 700 zr jugs. I think that was a 1050. His name is Tom Martin. He broke a record for speed in 500 feet. It didn’t last long tho.
Great project and story!
I love old school articat

Mike Miller is who you want contact for water pump kits he's on the ZRT and Thunder cat groups
Love the videos. But hang those pipes on the wall for another build someday
I used either when I had to start a Polaris or a Ski don’t.
Dump a little fuel in each head when the plugs are off
If you can. Put a Bear Cat clutch and torque converter on it. It will give you more low end and top speed.
I'm interested in those Aaen pipes
awesome vid!
What drag race are you shooting for? When & where? Good video's... Keep'em coming... Great channel!!!
There is a race out in Twin Falls ID. It is the end of October.
Call it POWERSLAVE.
Too bad your not going to use that chassis that it's already in. Those Van Amburg tunnels are sweet.
that 1050 does sound sweet i dont know if id use a zrt 800 motor tho...
Cutler used the ZRT as a platform to work off of.. They bore it to a 1050 then cut the heads for higher compression.
THE TRAVELER
Green Bean
Call it the "Cat Attack"
The Hulk
The dirty ditch pickle
Isn’t the 1050 have 3 cylinders of a 700 Zr. Those suckers run.
I believe that was the 1050 hooper that used the 700 cylinders
