One of the greatest groups of all time. Nobody like them. They lived in cleveland ohio the whole time they recorded those great hits in the seventies and part of the eighties.
Mr LeVert is right, the seventies and the eighties the economy was better, people could afford to buy records and concert tickets, now things are different, the economy is tight, people can't buy concert tickets or cds, people are being ripped out of the old neighborhoods because of gentrification, my neighborhood in Oakland used to be all Black people, now it's Vietnamese and Mexican, things are bad, thank God the O Jays made their money when things were good, in 1975 concert tickets were 4.50 5.50 and 6.50 to see a show, now tickets are 3,000. For VIP who can afford that, not too many! But I Still love the O Jays and I still listen to their music!
I'm so used to seeing Sammy Strain with Mr LeVert and Mr Williams, Sammy did the work with those steps, but this youngster must have died and went to heaven when the original members asked him to join the group.
