For real? I was listening to this, wondering how old these gents were. I figured they had to be in their 70s by now (except for the one) and they sound fantastic. This music is timeless and just shows nothing today equals music that is timeless. All of these jams are live singing with real talent. No auto tune, computers. Talent. This was such an amazing treat. One of my favorite groups.
This is my favorite episode, I have watched it many times and sing along. 63, and these versions are authentic AND enhanced. The O’Jays are the Kings of ad-lib and Darryl “finds a fourth part” to groove on. My favorite comment was when they said “Darryl’s got so much soul, he ought to have a ‘fro!”
My sister and I played this song on a 45 single, over and over til it scratched popped, & skipped... Then we got another 45 and and did the same to that one! 😂😂😂❤❤❤

I read the Eric Grant was hand selected by Gerald....and was he ever correct!!! If that's true...Eric is a perfect fit.
Eddie and Walter are in their 80's and still sound better than a lot of younger singers out now. Real talent.
