- It’s the first race of our Boston trip and we’re attempting to run the olympic standard of 13:05 in the 5000m. We aren’t allowed to put race clips in due to copyright but we’ll show you the lead up from 3 days out of the race and what we do after to recover.

I'm starting to think that for distances of 1500 upwards this new generation of indoor tracks are actually faster than outdoors. Clearly you need to get a clear run, not always possible on smaller tracks, but once you get rolling and accustomed to using the bends instead of just running round them the absence of any wind, decent temperature guaranteed and the bounce that is obviously there ...
