Great video. I think you covered very WELL. Living in Mexico changed my life for the better. My living expenses are much lower than Canada. I love the food here too!
Los admiro!!! Quisiera atreverme a volver a México. Vivimos en Ottawa desde hace 7 años pero extrañamos tanto México. Trabajamos tanto para ofrecerle esta vida canadiense a nuestras hijas pero sentimos q la vida en Canadá ha cambiado tanto y no para bien😢.
@@familyandfriends3519and what's your point?? Stop antagonizing people, not all mexicans have your perception such a bad name you've got there, are you even Mexican at all!!???😂😂
Our family lives in a small remote fishing village in BCS. Our kids go to public school and are thriving. We are very involved in the community. We've had our house here for about 17 years but have lived here full time for over 3 years. We can't wait to apply for citizenship 🎉
Is nice you appreciate the simple things in life and you're also involved in your community, as many foreigner people living in Mexico don't care about anything but themselves 👍
Puebla is an excellent student city. Dozens of great schools from public like the Centro Escolar to high end private like American School, Colegio Benavente, Instituto Oriente or the Colegio Humboldt. Same with Universities that receive people from all the country and foreigners.
I'm with you on points 2 through 5. As for # 1, I generally prefer being left alone and dislike loud, noisy environments. Everything else I'm in complete agreement. I ran away from Canada mostly due to the awful weather. Great video and may I say, you look radiantly happy 🌞
Thank you George, I truly am! Breath of fresh air here. New beginning feels truly amazing. Our home is actually really quiet, so my introvert side loves that. It’s nice to be able to dial it up or down!

I imagine there are mark ups, but I learned a lot from the owner of the music store where I bought my piano- he keeps his costs as low as possible. Importation fees are very high, and there are many regulations (like costly inspections of electronics) that jack up the prices too!
You need to travel more, the prices in Mexico for most of the no basic items (electronics, brand clothing, etc) they've been always expensive Regardless of who's in the oval office in Mexico we have never seen the benefit of that Don't believe me, search Calica mining in Cozumel, they destroyed the whole jungle to take limestone for construction to USA now the area is protected and after many years of destruction and abuse they can't mine anymore but they want a compensation because they can't exploit the area at their own leisure as it used to be, and congressmen in USA now are threatening that if Mexico doesn't allow to exploit that protected area again the North America trade will be in "danger"... for whom? So, international free trade.... Their arses!
I would love to hear your take! I am aware of the new government on paper- I’ve been speaking about liberty on a separate channel for many years. I would like to hear your thoughts as an insider in this country. Please share!
Scary for you, more than two thirds are overly happy. We have a government to fit our taste not the one of the corporations or foreign governments or immigrants. Having said that, whoever does not like it are just welcome to take a hike.
I don't consider the new government scary at all. It's just the opposite. It will be for all the people. The Mexican ruling class took a hit, but for the rest it's a win
That’s actually a very bias and somewhat ignorant comment from your part. Would like to know where you’re getting your news from and what political ideology you lean on. Nowadays is a must because of all the fake news 🗞 and lies popping in the media and social media. The world has gotten too radical these days.

where did you go?
There’s a free trade agreement between US and Mexico. Prices are higher on US goods because the Mexican merchants mark it up.
I imagine there are mark ups, but I learned a lot from the owner of the music store where I bought my piano- he keeps his costs as low as possible. Importation fees are very high, and there are many regulations (like costly inspections of electronics) that jack up the prices too!
The mexican merchants say that is because of goverment taxes.
