I am mexican living in Saskatchewan, and this kind of trip is new for me. Thank you for sharing this. By the way in Mexico you need to pay in cash you gas, not because you can't pay with credit card, it is because your credit card could be cloned, and they stole your money, no all the gas stations are like that but you never know. How much money did you spend in gas and tolls ? By the way, I am from Veracruz and I have friends in Puebla.

Ohh myyy! Your video ‘Crossing the Mexican border by car…’ appeared on my feed and clicked it; I could feel my eyes getting watery at some point that I can’t even remember now anymore; this is the 4th video I watch of yours this evening, and I just subscribed as well. I will watch after this one the last one I need to have watch all of your videos up to todays date 😆 😃 My name is Javier and I live in New Jersey USA but I’m proudly Mexican, to be more specific from Puebla. I’m so positive envious as very happy for you and your family that have chosen to live in Mi Mexico Lindo y Querido. Hope the very best experiences and best life overall for your husband, your gorgeous and handsome baby, and you! I just wanna thank you for Showing the Real Mexico from inside and share it to the world. As long as it’s true everyone will support you along with your channel, no matter if it’s about the beauty of the country, the beauty in culture, the kindness of the Mexican people in general, the patriotism that the Mexican people feel and have in each one, the Pride that each one carries for Mexico and for being Mexican, the argument or fight in between each other but all together when time needs it such as earthquakes and that type of inevitable situations… but also when you share the bad things that occur on a day to day basis people will still support you and/or will let you know why such thing happens/happened and how to avoid these things in the future. Like any other country Mexico will have the bad, the wrong, the unsafe, the honest or dishonest people, but if you guide yourself with common sense as you have been doing everything should be fine. Hope to see your next videos soon! Congrats in your new adventure and form of living! ✌🏼

I am not sure what was the intend of your video, if you were trying to say good things about Mexico it didn’t happen at all. Just a heads up, in Mexico people from other countries like your case are treated better even than a Mexican. You said do not drive at night, just bring a little bit of cash for bad guys or police, sketchy towns in Mexico. Just a heads up, that people in the sketchy towns that you described are honest and warm poor people. You should say how Mexican people have treated you as a tourist. Not a good video!

This is genuinely the most informative video I've ever seen about Mexico. I've decided I will never drive into Mexico. This is serious business, especially as I'm a childless cat lady. And that music in the "Safety" section did not help.

In regards to the import processing, we'll, if you are mexican getting to US, they treat people pretty bad with lots of requests. You guys are lucky that Mexicans dosent treat Canadian or US people nasty.

You and your husband are irresponsible naive fools. It is very dangerous to drive in Mexico, especially border regiones..... Mexico police are complices of cartels. They can rob you as any criminal would do. In fact, they can stop you anytime under any pretext intimidating you with taking away your car... (one of their most favorite tricks). Thus you will be forced to bribe them .... Roads are in very poor conditions.

Hahaha, it was funny to listen to your journey, like if you were driving on a different planet! I have made road trips all around Mexico and never had any issue, maybe I was lucky for years... And I'm from France, where roads and highways are way better than in the US or Canada! Also, out of curiosity, if you didn't visit any place along the way, why not flying to Puebla or Mexico City and renting a car upon arrival? It would be much cheaper and safer, since driving anywhere is always more dangerous than flying.

We were driving to Mexico because we moved here! We wanted to bring our car and didn’t want to deal with the hassle of shipping it. We decided to embark on an adventure. We had trepidations because of things we had read or heard, but as you saw, the trip went super well and we had no worries. We were mostly concerned about the area around the border, but it was smooth sailing. Where have you travelled to and from here?

Yes we did move to Mexico! We were going to fly originally but life happened lol… we decided to drive! We were going to buy a car in Mexico but ended up doing so in Canada, and then had to think about coordinating shipping. In the end, this move was more spontaneous, more of an adventure, and allowed us to bring some extra stuff.
