I'm suddenly transported back to 1st grade music class, where they would tie a string on our recorder for every song we learned to play. I had so many strings that they wouldn't all fit, so I only put on the fancy colored, patterned, or ones representing complicated classical songs I learned to play. I still remember how to read sheet music to this day. Thanks... music teacher... I've never been good with names. Cool song, bro.
What a fun story! I just picked up recorder around 2020 and have recently learned how to read music. If you’ve never played the larger recorders before it’s a lot of fun :)
@@mantistoboggan2676 Yeah, they are the perfect instrument for learning how to read sheet music. I should probably pick it back up, but my first choice of instrument will always be the piano. The sounds it makes are just so rich and beautiful, making it capable of being utilized for all the music I want to play. Of course, they are financially unfeasible, and I can't afford to buy my own. Therefore, the only chance I'm able to play anymore is at church, friends' houses, and various other publicly available ones. How much do these larger recorders cost? How much did you pay for yours? Thank you for the nostalgia and allowing me to reminisce on my childhood. 🥲
