Do you guys like this style of video or my classic green screen "zoomer" style of editing? let me know your thoughts!

This is my first video of yours but stopped less than 30 seconds in because of the self-censoring. UA-camrs really need to stop doing this.
It's idiotic, annoying, and accomplishes absolutely nothing except for making your video more difficult to understand and enjoy because you're just cutting out random words and phrases.
A lot of people on youtube seem to have this misguided, delusional belief that youtube takes down videos for swearing.
      They don't, and never have.
For all the kids who are new to youtube, and still have this idiotic delusional idea, who want some evidence to support my claim here just look up the Angry Video Game Nerd, or even penguinz0.
They both have lots of uncensored swearing in their videos, especially the AVGN, and they are not getting their content removed.
There are also plenty of music videos on youtube, some of which with hundreds of millions of views, full of swearing. It's never been an issue for getting videos taken down.
On the other hand, it comes across as someone desperately trying to make sure that they don't get demonetized. But, even that seems misguided. Because I've seen firsthand how tons of UA-camrs who desperately try to appeal to youtube and the almighty algorithm self-censor then still up getting demonetized or getting their videos taken down arbitrarily.
Just stop with the self-censorship, it's moronic.

@@BigCoagulatedGravyHotDog I AGREE. The self-censoring needs to stop. Susan isn't working for UA-cam anymore, you won't be demonetized for it. What's more annoying is how inconsistent the censoring is... the audio will mute at one point and you'll hear a FUCK later down the line...

He stole the Blood on the Dance Floor title from Michael Jackson anyway. Michael used that term in the late 90s as a metaphorical way to fight against the false allegations he was going through at the time. Michael already had a lot to go through and deal with the constant slander against him in his life including a trial in which the DA tampered with evidence and comitted felonies to spin a conviction and now you got actual ch0m0s asociating themselves with MJ whether it's a name, or them being "inspired" by him. Dahvie is a sick individual and us MJ fans don't claim him as part of the fandom. Hes someone who needs to be on the media's focus, not a man who's been dead for 15 years and proven innocent.

In his defense, I think nostalgia or appreciation for music in general is the main factor. I'm in the same boat. I was a fan since 2010. The music is hard to kick when that's all you used to listen to. Every song will always be an ear worm. I try to avoid certain songs out of respect for the survivors, but it's not always easy. Not everything Dahvie has written is a hit. However, there are hidden gems even today and he has grown a lot as an artist after leaving Blood On The Dance Floor behind, which I appreciate. 💜

Yeah, I was one of the people who got interviewed by Chris Hansen in March 2020 because I ran a large Tumblr blog about Onision (OnisionHurtsPeople), and when people started leaving rude comments on the video speculating that I was a drug addict who was injecting Xanax into my knuckles (???), he just deleted my interview instead of correcting them. When he interviewed Sarah (a v*ctim of Onision) and then afterwards lost her laptop that had damning evidence on it (including nudes and s*xually suggestive messages from Kai), then he just deleted her interview instead of apologizing and correcting himself. And he did the same thing in this case: just got involved in the story, profited from it, and then left. One of the girls who got interviewed by him in this case (Mal Levy, their merch girl), the whole comment section was doing nothing but speculating that her Mom was involved in drug trafficking, and he just deleted the video because it was making HIM look bad.
I'm about 90% sure that he's just a con artist in fancy clothing. 😒

Jessie Slaughter haunts me. We collectively failed her. She was a child in an abusive household being abused by a predator, and we made memes of her. We laughed at her. We shamed her. She deserved so much better.
Also, can we please stop blaming disenfranchised women for his lack of arrest. There’s a horrendous power imbalance, and it’s not women’s responsibility to prevent male crime.

It's weird as fuck to want to hook up with someone significantly younger than yourself. Knowing age of consent laws state by state is fucking weird.

  • @The_Summoning
    @The_Summoning 2 місяці тому +8

Thing that drives me crazy about "age of consent", is that there's still a limit. At least in my state. Age of consent is 16, but it's only legal if the other person is no more than FIVE YEARS OLDER. Then it's illegal. And his first victim in 2006, he was 22 and she was 15. 7 years older, it's illegal and was non-consensual at the time.

your suspicion about them reporting back to dahvie is correct. I used to know some old school e-girls who were somewhat friendly with him. One that was obsessed would report things the other girls did back to him to try and win favor. He seemed to show a lot of attention in return for loyalty, even to people he hadn't met in person.

I’m not excusing Dahvie here, however if I was a mom, and my 14 year old daughter was MOLESTED by a grown man posing as a hairdresser, I would’ve wanted to press all the charges I can get on that monster and want that creep to ROT IN JAIL for the rest of their days!!!
+ on top of that, if she was leaving the home when Dahvie arrives… she would’ve seen him! That leaves me with another question, why was the mom okay with some random grown ass man walking into her home with her 14 year old daughter alone inside!?

What also sucks is that logic doesn't work on a young person's brain the way you'd hope. I can't believe the parents saw this and let them go to these shows. But also imagine your parents telling you to stay away from some music or a person. For whatever reason, it makes you latch on more, either to piss off your parents or because you think they're wrong. You tell yourself this is so important and/or that this person or scene is everything to you, etc. It takes a long time to grow out of it. So then it leaves it up to the idolized person/band to be responsible. If they're a predator like this dude, they take advantage of the power play and younger mind. It's just sad for many reasons. Someone ruined my life a long time ago as well and took advantage of me but I would not listen to my parent at all or any other kind of logic people said to me until it got really bad.

Not making any excuses for his behavior.. but that's problematic too. Also I believe all these allegations 100%. I saw BOTDF when I was 15 in November of 2010 and after the show he went down on the floor and I got to hug him and he literally groped me. Like that was how he greeted his fans apparently. Stopped listening to him immediately following that show because it made me super uncomfortable.

Glad someone is talking about the Screamolester again. The biggest tragedy to the situation is that the dozen interviews conducted by Pastel Belle with survivors are forever gone. If anyone could ever contact her and recover these it would mean the world to the case. She deleted her UA-cam and Social Media out of nowhere (I think she was getting too much flack about her Eugenia Cooney videos).
No other videos have done justice in how greatly affected the victims were. The Chris Hansen invterviews opened dialogue back up, but he is not a good interviewer imo. Anyways thanks VIZZY for making this.

Never cared for Blood on the Dance Floor and personally thought their music was bad but I remember Dahvie mainly because of his fangirls and I wish I could say that I was surprised when this stuff came out about him but I honestly wasn't because unfortunately, it feels like stories of some musicians in the scene kid subculture had a tendency of being inappropriate with teenage girls and back in the day during Warped Tour, you would hear all kinds of stories so sadly I wasn't at all surprised that this guy turned out to be another creep.
To answer the question you posed on being a fan of band that had a member who did problematic stuff? For me it really depends on what they did. It's a little hard for me because not a lot of the bands I like have been in controversy but I'll put it like this. Hole is one of my favorite bands and though Courtney Love can be a pretty questionable person, I'm able to look past her controversies and enjoy the music of her band with next to no issue. On the other hand there is Lostprophets, I used to be really into them when I was in high school in the mid 2000s but when the dark secret of the singer Ian Watkins came out and I sat and read the testimonial, I was so disgusted that I can't even listen to their music anymore even for nostalgia which sucks because they really were one of my top 10 teen-hood bands but the severity of his disgusting actions were just too much to take in and process.
So yeah again, it really depends on what the musician did. If the singer was a predator going after teens, yeah I'm not sure if I could listen to their music to be honest.
