Aero the Acrobat 2 is the sequel to Aero the Acrobat (tasvideos.org/.... This game abandons the quest-based gameplay of the first game and instead goes for straight platformer levels. They also added a few new moves to Aero's arsenal.
According to the story, after Aero defeated Ektor the evil industrialist clown in the previous game, he decides to wander around Ektor's evil museum. Meanwhile Zero the Kamikaze squirrel rescues Ektor using his flying machine. While wandering the museum, Aero happens across a strange portal, which pulls him toward a far away past. Turns out the portal was a trap set by Ektor.

Each encode, as well as the movie file itself, contains the author's commentary in the form of soft subtitles.
While the TAS of this game was not the most entertaining I've seen, these custom captions created a wonderful experience. I wish there were more tases like this.
there's something wrong with the game if even a TAS run is still kinda boring
the subtitles are awesome and appreciated! i love this stuff
PSA: this video has captions on it with commentary from the authors.

Is this glitch RTA viable?
Roddy I've actually seen Garbi the Glitcheress pull it off in real time. It took multiple multiple attempts, and was done with pause buffering, but that's still faster than taking the level normally

Roddy What a silly typo, i already fixed it. Thanks!
No idea why this game and the original hasn't caught on with speedrunners.
Aero 1 is my favorite of all time. This was a cool franchise!
Yup, played this game as a little one, and it's fun. The controls are smooth, the graphics are fantastic, the soundtrack is nice, the voice of Areo is frustrating at best.(Don't remember how to spell his name off the top of my head, so I'm sorry, and come at me acrobat NERDS!)
I'm a 90s gamer, I mean I was almost 5 when Super Mario world came out for the SNES, so with that out of the way!
I get that caves are a trope in most video games, but the music levels only seemed to ever exist in games from the 90s.
I'm sure there are music levels in newer games, however, I can name a bunch of games from back in the day that used music as a trope.
This game, Bubsy 2, Star Tropics 2, The lost Vikings 1 or 2... Heck even in final fantasy 7 you had to play a piano for what I think was Tifa's strongest limit break, and so many other games.
Why did we stop doing that?
Jogo bom mas o som do jogo dói os ouvidos hahahah
