This was super helpful. I was planning on getting one for power outages as well. I was expecting it to look like the low setting, at best....but no, it's super bright. Thanks!!!😁
Weekends are wonderful! I can slip away to visit some of the new home-center stores in Bulacan province and see if this baby is in stock. My very first thought was Beautiful Daughter would do well with this in a dorm room or apartment setting. The great "College Challenge" will soon be on the horizon for her. A few extra batteries charged up, and she could ride out any storm as well as keep that all-important phone powered up to stay in touch with home base. I noticed that replacement Ryobi and no-name clone batteries are available online here in the Phils with prices all over the map.
Oh you have home depot in the Philippines? It is very nice and works well. Watch out the no name battery's are hit or miss. Some are made very cheaply and can cause a fire when charging them. If you can find some that are made correctly they can be a good deal vs Ryobi ones. I think the variances of price you are seeing is a reflection of the quality or lack there of in manufacturing. Happy Memorial day!
I have one of these and the lens diffuser is missing. The lamp is to bright to see anything when it is in front of you. I don’t find a replacement for it anywhere. Or one for parts or repair.
have you considered making your own diffuser for it? Heat and bend some Plexiglas and either sand blast it or go at it with sandpaper. Or any clear plastic you can find.
@@charlesartificer2158 no but not a bad idea but how much will the plastic cost. It 34 or something brand new. The price of a new one and if I do get a new one I will just keep this one for part. I am going to make one anyway
thanks man! genuine and honest approach, hard to find that anymore on youtube! subscribed!
@jl6693 Thanks for the sub! Look forward to hearing from you again. Have a great night.

@@charlesartificer2158 I would love to see someone compare this one to the little one, the P796B, I believe.
Originally I was looking at that light. Unfortunately its not available at my local store. So I got this one.

Glad it was helpful!
I've owned a number of Ryobi products and find them to be a quality manufacturer. Peace
Yes they are. For what I do they serve well. Thanks for the comment and views.

Not sure what to tell ya. If you get this at direct tools on sale its not badly priced.
@@charlesartificer2158 I know I bought it at pate swap meet for five US dollars
