    I like this better than equipter as far as the reach is concerned. Though the price is pretty steep for most and the equipter has an easier moveability factor in my opinion (And it's cheaper). Only concern on a residential job is size. 31' is a bit Big for the average house owners property. And tooooo big to park on the road feeding into a dumpster. Commercial side I see no downfalls. Pretty cool piece of equipment!!!

    Can it lift a pallet into the roof? No. Can you stand on it to do starter courses? No. Clan you load it with planks,nails,brackets,shovels? Can you haul shingles to the dump with it? NO COMPARISON!!!

    We have used the equipter for 7 years now. This machine does not make sense to me for roofing. Shingles don’t come off in single small shingle pieces. They are sealed and come off in bulk pieces. Don’t see this working well for roof removals. Just my oppinion.

    Considering all the money a good roofer can make, I don’t see any reason not to have both pieces of equipment. Very awesome

      I agree it makes more sense for them to be purchased together instead of a competition because if you're trying to compete with the equipter the trash rocket isn't going to hold up with workability

    Good idea, but seems like it is far too heavy to move on lawns, and too long to be maneuverable. Crews would still be tearing off and hauling up and over from the backside of many of my condominium and apartment complex jobs. A skytrac with a dump hopper on it would seem the most versatile option for this purpose.

    I like this more than the equipter, more practical and you don't have to worry about messing up the landscape

      this one is different, but very appealing, agree with you: it can do few things equipter cant

      I don't see how this would be more practical than an equipter. Not only is the equipter self-propelled, gentle on lawns, and lifts your roofing materials up, As far as a trash chute is concerned, if you attach the standard 2 plywood sheets to the back of the equipter, you're likely able to reach nearly 25 ft. But as has been stated, there definitely could be some commercial applications for it.

    As a roofing contractor i would personally use the equipter .

    Probably be hard to put a 30 foot trailer sideways in somebody's driveway. Did you say you're giving away an Equipter I would like to sign up for that.

    Cool concept. But you have to load the shingles a certain way in order to use this. And honestly im not trying to organize the shingles to get them down a shoot when i can throw them off the roof. This company is targeting the wrong people.

    That is nice! Did he have a warranty?

    Looks like a good direction to something much smaller and cheaper. This thing looks very bulky for residential project.

    The big negative w this chute is you can't do a PEEL TEAR OFF. All trash would have to be loaded in small chunks. And for the price of 50k you could buy a used lull and trash hopper.

    The company I work for has an equipter and as far as I'm concerned this seems like a good tool but what if the roof is higher then the shoot access
    Also where is the container that it slides into so you're saying all you're getting out of this is just getting the material away from the landscaping the equipter takes the material from falling off the roof into the dumpster this is just a garbage shoe so for a company that does roofing full time it doesn't make much sense the equipter is the way to go
    Not to mention that you can also use the equipter to get your materials to the roof or at least closer I don't see how this is better or competing with the equipter not only is the equipter a portable dumpster it's the equivalent of 3 ground guys (without the complaints about carrying bundles) access we strap 20ft planks to it for scaffolding how is the trash rocket even being comparable it's also 2,000 lb heavier than the heaviest equipper that they have

    Seems a bit expensive for what is a waste chute but it would not take many jobs to pay for itself if your alternative transfer is manual.

    Great product....not sure it would be good for residential work. Especially in the city. You would have a 50/50 chance that the powerlines would end up being on that side of the road and you wouldnt be able to use it.

    • @RoofingInsights3.0
      @RoofingInsights3.0  4 роки тому +1

      true, but we think it has plenty of uses, especially in commercial space

    • @goatroofer1077
      @goatroofer1077 4 роки тому

      @@RoofingInsights3.0 ohh definitely can see it being used in commercial. You would essentially only need a crane for loading a roof rather then for disposal. Another short cut around OSHA bullshit also

    Makes tear off safer since the crew can load chute from a safe easy access spot on the roof instead of having to go to the edge everytime.
