I am a connoisseur of bad animation, a raider of Goodwills and bargain bins everywhere. My friends and family struggle to understand how I can stomach these atrocities, much less enjoy them. But here -- here I have hit my limit. Ladies and Gentleman, I give you the worst movie I have ever seen. So bad that the DVD came scratched right out of the case. So bad I physically could not watch it through the headaches on my first viewing. So, I bring it to you, UA-cam viewers, to try your luck.
I had this on video as a child. I have been trying to find it on youtube for years to make sure that I wasn't crazy and really did have it. I liked it as a child...but I didn't watch it all the time because I had the Disney Aladdin
Same for me. I used to have this on VHS and it mustve broke cuz for years I couldn't find it but I remembered it and I knew i wasnt crazy. This was the only version of Aladdin I had i never had the disney version.

yes, yes, Yes, Yes, YES!!!!! Oh my gosh I have been trying to find this version for AGES!! I remembered having the video as a kid. I wanted to hear the song again (8:14) because I loved it so much as a child, I thought it was so beautiful. The neither the animation nor the artwork was very good, but it was good enough when I was a child. I would definitely watch this again now at age 30. THANK YOU SO SO MUCH!! You have helped me relive my childhood in the BEST way. Much love to you!!! I just can not convey all of my appreciation to you. Thank you.

I had this movie as a kid. It was so cheesy I actually enjoyed it. I’m glad I finally found it on here. I honestly thought no one else knew about this movie. We bought it in 1993 at Sams Club in GA while waiting in line. It was amongst all the other rip off movies.
Holy shit! I had this on VHS when I was little. My uncle gave it to me. He called it Aladdin Cider for whatever reason, so it made it really hard to find again. Even then I knew it was bad, but I loved it and watched it all the time. Glad to be able to experience the nostalgia again.
I got to admit, that love song is pretty catchy.

omg my grandma bought this for me when i asked for Aladdin (hoping it would be the Disney version) but i watched it anyway. it was like a train wreck ....couldn't look away lol. thank you for posting this. now i have proof of how uncool my childhood was.
I had both and didn't think this one was any less than the Disney version. Depends on what you are looking for. I came here for the song where he's creeping around the pool. Sounds better on the tape. I love this because I hadn't and still haven't seen anything quite like it. It's mesmerizing with it's strange silence.
Thank you so much for uploading this!! I had this given to me as a child by someone who found it at a Salvation Army or Goodwill (they had the best of intentions), and it's been stuck in my memory ever since! I actually watched it fairly often as a kid, I knew the animation was awful and the acting too, but it was so fascinating. Who knows? Maybe it help mold me into the bad movie review loving person I am today! Can't wait to watch this all the way through!

This is like a Southpark version of Aladdin. Interesting story line though.
It is pretty close to the actual story.
That's why I like it. In fact, I like all the Aladdin animations. They all have their own unique animation - Disney's Aladdin; "Aladdin and the Wonderful Lamp" 1982 by TOEI company and this one. The 1982 Japanese one is probably the best in terms of its closeness to the original story + animation style - definitely advanced for its day.
This is interesting. By the way, the original story of Aladdin actually took place in a part of China.
Okay. Aladdin sings Barry Manilow. Also recycled animated scenes. The singing looks kind of odd when matched with the animation.
One more thing. Three fingered hands don't work if you are going to make them detailed like human hands and if the rest of the character design is closer to realistic. They look like alien hands.

lol I remember watching this in the early 90s, the animation is terrible and the sound is even worse but it brings back so many fond memories. :)

I was looking for this for years! I had it on VHS in German language. My mum bought it mistaking it for the Disney Aladdin (since my mum isnt too much into comics) and i first was totally dissappointed but even the animations are of lower quality i really loved this totally international style. Chinese Boy, Oriental People, a cool black Genie and a funny old one. Some scenes are quite hilarious like the one with the dog. They just had to ask for some Chinese people to do some little writing, those Signs except the Public bath ones are made out of fantasy :D You can laugh at me but this version has some Elements that are far better than the disney version.
I didn't know there was THIS Aladdin ripoff. The lip syncing is terrible!

Is english the original language? cause it's awful. I had the swedish dub when I was little and I remember the voice acting to be much better than this version.
It is made by a British company. So this must be the original version
+Allaspappa Unfortunately, it is the original English version. I used to think it was dubbed into English since nothing seemed to match the lips properly.
I've watched the Swedish dub of Beauty and the Beast from the same company, and I definitely agree that it was much better than the one I grew up on.
That's sad. But I find these horrible cartoons fascinating. I feel like they don't make them like this anymore, if this came out today I think it would just be someones passionproject and be uploaded to youtube.

I can't believe how poorly this is animated. There's no continuity. Madame Roly disappears from the screen in one part when she really should be in shot. It's weird the magician guy is talking to her and she just vanishes.
