Ah, an Aladdin! This was always such a great show. Amazing how long it lasted. Frozen is still a good show. It's interesting how both shows were adapted for the stage and even just how much of a difference the supporting cast makes in the scenes and musical numbers. Aladdin and Frozen are both great shows many people have called "Broadway caliber". We're lucky it's included in our admission!
I’m pretty sure they’re different people on the stage and on the carpet above the audience. It’s hard to see their faces when they’re flying around without that much light on them. You can kind of tell the difference in their singing voices as well =]
Dan Keeley as I look back on it, I can defiantly now see it’s body doubles. As for the lip syncing, the doubles up on the carpet are actually lip-syncing to a track. I actually went and watched a couple more of these performances on different dates and when they are flying it’s sounds like the play the exact same playback every show
I just saw the Broadway show today and I was disappointed that they did not fly over the audience like they did at California Adventure. They also didn’t put any props to show that they were traveling over buildings and seeing the world. California Adventure definitely did this scene better.

The costumes here are actually prettier than in the live action movie. So are the actors. The voices are better too. Honestly, other than the fact that they're on stage and the carpet's got wires, *this* is what the live action movie *should* have been like. Lovely. Beautiful. Probably my second favorite version right after the animated one. What is Disney doing? Disney live at the Hyperion is actually *better* than the live action movie??? Okay then. Well, not *everything* about it is better, but everything I just mentioned is. Glorious. ^____^
we did aladdin jr for our 8th grade musical and seeing the crowds faces for the carpet was the best thing ever so how we did it: we had a piece of wood and put a carpet over it. then we had that on top of a mini fork lift thing, and it was behind a curtain. what made it cooler was the fact that it could move sideways and turn like a roller coaster. and then we had dry ice going under the carpet as clouds

This Makes me want to pursue acting and Stage performance or whatever you call it. i find it so mesmerizing is it to late for me? im about to turn 22 this month and im not happy with my current job should i pursue my dreams? i want to be a great entertainer i want to make alot of people happy through performing.
I remember when I saw Aladdin, the Magic Carpet broke or something so we went on a break for 15 minutes while they fixed it, and even after the carpet was just in the ground not flying
