Ryomen Sukuna (両りょう面めん宿すく儺な Ryomen Sukuna?), more often called just Sukuna (宿すく儺な Sukuna?), is a mighty cursed spirit known as the Disgraced One (堕だ天てん Daten?) and the undisputed King of Curses (呪のろいの王おう Noroi no Ō?). He serves as one of the primary antagonists of the Jujutsu Kaisen series.
According to a legend, during the golden age of jujutsu over 1,000 years ago, Sukuna was an Imaginary Demon (仮想かそうの鬼神きじん Kasō no Kijin?), though in truth was a human sorcerer, and other sorcerers gave their all to defeat him. After his death, he became a cursed spirit, and his curse was too strong for his body to be fully destroyed. Henceforth, his remains of 20 indestructible fingers, preserved in grave wax, traversed the ages as cursed objects, ever growing in power.[1] In the present, Sukuna has been incarnated into Yuji Itadori due to the latter eating one of his cursed fingers, which contain his fragmented power.
His past appearance is described as a demon with four arms and two faces.[2] Currently, he appears similar to the host he is in, but with spiked hair and with unique markings on his forehead, nose, cheeks, and torso. He also has a second pair of eyes under his normal eyes, which are usually closed.[3] Sukuna also has two lines on both his wrists, upper arms, circles on both his shoulders with a dot in each, two-segmented curve lines on his chest, and two lines on his stomach while possessing Yuji.
Sukuna wears a light-colored kimono with a black edge, a black scarf, and black shoes.
Sukuna is selfish, cold-hearted, immoral, and exceptionally sadistic. When he was reincarnated shortly after Yuji ingested his finger, he commented, implying the slaughter of women and children and likening them to maggots crawling around. Due to his immense power, he rarely cares about the consequences of his actions, even if these affect his host, Yuji Itadori. In fact, he frequently taunts and insults Yuji, calling him a brat and even laughing at or enjoying Yuji's despair on multiple occasions.
Sukuna is aware of his immense power and is quite arrogant about it, brutalizing a finger bearer while being patronizing and proclaiming his superiority over it. For this reason, he is highly dismissive of his opponents and rarely takes them seriously, even explicitly stating he would kill Satoru Gojo to his face. However, these brutish traits are not to be confused for stupidity. Sukuna is highly intelligent and manipulative, taking Yuji's body hostage by tearing out his heart to force him into a Binding Vow. He has also displayed the ability to acknowledge and praise his opponents, as shown by how before killing Jogo Sukuna acknowledged his strength despite having completely overpowered him and told Jogo that he should be proud.
I like that Nanami’s weapon has left his cursed technique imbued in it and it’s honestly a pretty powerful for a special grade tool that anyone could use.
Yeah it gives you the complete technique too without any debuff.
Cursed tools are what made Heavenly restrictions (physical) into Heavenly Blessings 💀. Like fr couldn't mechanaru built a puppet capable enough to serve him as armor/body? Like Darth Vader
I don't think Mechamaru is obsessed with the Dark Side enough to deal with the constant pain a suit of armor would bring.

I think that it's one of those things where if he does it why don't other people use it. Like with shikihame users people like Geto and Megumi are usually a cut above the rest because their shikihame control is more refined and (usually) comes with more features.
He can always do that, but what made mechamaru so annoying to deal with is the simple fact that even if he’s defeated, he’s not really defeated because his main body is safe and he can always construct more robots and send them over. All of this wouldn’t be possible and he would be nerfing himself to the ground if he were to go to the front lines with his body in a suit of armor. He’s way stronger staying safe and controlling his robots by far

Actually, Shikigami are healed by RCT, they seem very different from curses, Madoka Deer and it's fusion Agito are healed by RCT and Mahoraga seems to be just fine wielding a Positive Energy sword
That inverted spear of heaven wouldve helped A LOT especially during the cukling games and MAYBE yuji's fights againts sukuna but noooooo gege was like "Aight Imma write this off the story and blame gojo-sensei"
The only person it would help is sukuna to kill gojo. It passes nulfies cursed techniques but sukuna doesn't have a CT protecting him so it the spear would be basically useless. Also gege got rid of the spear because it could of been used to unseal gojo. Nothing to do with the sukuna fight
@@mickynick9888 The Spear also let Toji deflect spheres of blues and reds fired at him if he could time the block right, so it could be a good tool for letting someone block Sukuna’s slashes. Although they’d need to be crazy skilled.

The Inverted Spear of Heaven was destroyed or sealed by Gojo. He could theoretically recreate Jacob's Ladder into a Cursed Tool similar to ISOH but it won't be the exact ISOH.
If he has Jacob Ladder he probably could do a cursed tool that isn't the Inverted Spear of Heaven but does the exact same thing

I know the name of his CT is ratio technique but 7-3 sounds cooler 😂
Also he did a fine job explaining it. His ratio technique forces a weak point on the opponent even if there isn't one and the weak point is the 7th line out of the 10 that appear when using his CT
@@mickynick9888I thought the 7-3 was a binding vow he’d made that limited his cursed energy for his ‘work hours’ so when he’s on overtime he gets a buff if his normal output + the overtime amp.

Maki can't see the curse spirits once she awakens her powers. More like she can see everything else. So if the air is warped/moving she knows a cursed spirits is there because of how aware she is of everything else.
Actually that’s how the sword guy in the naoya fight explained how he could see it. Maki multiple times stated she could see curses. She quite literally asked kamo “that thing in front of us is a curse right ” and Toji was able to tell geto’s curse was female and heard what she was asking

Maki is in the air and she can see the wind blowing and all the stuff. She's perceived curses the same way toji did.

@@mickynick9888 the thing is if all they could do is sense a cursed spirit then realistically toji shouldn’t have been able to hear or tell the appearance of that curse get used. I can admit I shot myself a bit but at the time in mind I was using that kamo wasn’t sure what was going on in the situation at first because naoya was darting around and I think maki even said he was confused at one point earlier on so I just assumed her asking when naoya stopped moving was for reassurance which in hindsight doesn’t make sense.
@@mickynick9888 fam I get he can’t see them but he still sees them in his own way because if that wasn’t the case he shouldn’t be able to hear the cursed or tell the curse she doesn’t fit his type. If it was just pure I can see you but I know you’re there/coming then these two instances shouldn’t be possible. He can’t see them conventionally but he can still see them

I think, now don’t quote me, but a majority of Toji’s arsenal, he stole from the Zenin clan, and when he died Geto took them, and when Geto died, Gojo got his hands on the arsenal and gave them to his students(Maki). So now these special grade weapons are in the hands of the Gojo clan now, and the Zenin clan are salty about it.
I like to think Miwa thinks Maki still has her cursed tool but is just too shy to ask for it back

I feel like curse tools are just people ability fuse into one it stated to use your CE and it can become a curse tool but what if you use CT on one but tbh toji and maki is kinda only with tools withoutit they are kinda weak since the fact toji only beat teen gojo and geto both prime would end his life and overall CT is important in the world of jjk since it allows the user to control stuff other people cant in many ways toji does have inveted spear of heaven but it not helping much and reason is whatever CT it touch it wont disable it only way to active the effect of the spear is by stabbing it

Do you not know how to read the graph? A grade 1 sorcerer CAN equal a special grade (special grade isn't a static level) but is consistently Above Grade 1 curses which is why there are ranked grade 1. Special grade sorcerers are those above special grades, who are strong enough to beat any Curses and their strength says this for itself
@taylor15games the graph and also what is directly stated in the manga is that x grade sorcerers are above their respective grade of curses until it reaches special grade. And the graph even shows special grade sorcerers are equal to special grade curses, not necessarily above them. Grade 1 sorcerers are grade 1 because they are meant to be able to fight grade 1 and lower curses
@@nizzlevizzle4609 the graph also shows us that Sorcerers at X grade are not just able to consistently handle X grade curses but are also occasionally able to handle X+1 Grade curses, as is necessary for Promotion in the series anyway. Special grade For both curses and Sorcerers is placed at the top True, and yet Every special grade sorcerer we see can decimate Every Special grade Curse we see in the series. And several Grade 1 sorcerers are able to Handle or at least Contest Special Grades too, meaning that Grade 1s should be on the level of Special grades but shouldn't be expected to handle them consistently or without support
@taylor15games 3 of the 4 special grade sorcerers in the series are dead so no they do not consistently decimate every special grade curse. And yes i agree that SEVERAL grade 1s can potentially contest a special grade but that isnt what i originally brought up, what i originally brought up is how the video says a grade 1 sorcerer is equal to a special grade curse which is not true
@@nizzlevizzle4609 well tbf 3 of the 4 special grades are Dead due to Other special grade opponents; Yuta, Kenjaku and Sukuna, all of which are also above all other special grade curses in the series (except arguably Mahoraga in some cases but he's a Shikigami which is different). As for Your original point; yeah your observation wasn't wrong and I guess I was more focused on the patterns we've had shown to us rather than your statements correctness itself

All Maki needs at this point is a Curse spirit that can store her curse tools but also be able to use RCT to be able to heal her. If that happens she’ll be beyond stronger than Toji was 🥹
