Judging by the position of the sun, and assuming that it's starting at 1.23am, it could be accurate to Chilean time (the time which is used at Union Glacier Camp, despite it being out of synch with local solar time). If it is reading 1.23am, it doesn't matter if it's a 12 or 24-hour clock, obviously.
This is asking for trouble imho. With flerfs these things have to be 100% clean and tidy. And I guarantee you that flerfs are going to pick up the fact that the joystick control right at the end of the video doesn't match what we are seeing the drone actually do, and there will be a dozen videos up calling the whole thing fake before the weekend. (Whether it's in automated mode or not at that point.) Stupíd? Yes. But they are, and they will.
I find it curious how flat earthers don't learn to put in the time and effort for proper investigation but are instead in such a rush to debunk, that they constantly end up making fools of themselves. For example, the mystery about the main camp. Mckeegan already showed weeks ago, that it's at slightly lower elevation.
1 degree of change of the vertical every 111 km (or every 69 mi). Remember that before claiming you see flatness, because it is something you can't say.
The drone has to be traveling forward or backward or sideways to produce cardinal directions, this drone went straight up and then straight back down . You can see when it gets back into Will's hand or whoever grabs it at the end, the compass starts going nuts as the drone gets handled. You can also see it at approx 17-20 minutes as the drone starts slightly rolling and the roll meter twitches, the compass moves too.
@@DeusEx_Machina why does it have to move? That's not my experience with compasses, drones with compasses, or phones with compasses. The only devices I've experienced that have to move first is if they're using GPS in lieu of actual magnetism and then they're only able to indicate direction of motion, not heading. Or is that a timer?
It's a clock, but it might not be accurate.
Fascinating!
I'm not sure (because I never flew a drone)...
But if you tell a drone to return home, maybe it doesn't require any stick input?
@ yes I believe you are right. But flerfs won’t care about that.
Even if things are 100% clean and tidy, flerfs will ALWAYS think of something,...mostly things which oppose common sense.
I find it curious how flat earthers don't learn to put in the time and effort for proper investigation but are instead in such a rush to debunk, that they constantly end up making fools of themselves. For example, the mystery about the main camp. Mckeegan already showed weeks ago, that it's at slightly lower elevation.
How do you extract that data from the drone?
A very beautiful flat Antarctica...
BIG Antarctica, kiddo. Not flat.
Show the flat
I see mountains.
Crazy how you can’t see past the horizon and see more isn’t it?
1 degree of change of the vertical every 111 km (or every 69 mi). Remember that before claiming you see flatness, because it is something you can't say.
It dropped a couple of frames at 17:00
11 frames?
Uh-oh, Fkatzoid's up to his old tricks.
Why overlay compass data that doesn't move?
The drone has to be traveling forward or backward or sideways to produce cardinal directions, this drone went straight up and then straight back down . You can see when it gets back into Will's hand or whoever grabs it at the end, the compass starts going nuts as the drone gets handled. You can also see it at approx 17-20 minutes as the drone starts slightly rolling and the roll meter twitches, the compass moves too.
@@DeusEx_Machina why does it have to move? That's not my experience with compasses, drones with compasses, or phones with compasses. They just need to rotate once to measure the field and determine the highest/lowest level and from then on can show which way the device is facing regardless of movement. The only devices I've experienced that have to move first is if they're using GPS in lieu of actual magnetism and then they're only able to indicate direction of motion, not heading. It just seems strange to include the overlay in this video since it's so obviously wrong the whole time and could present an opportunity for someone to try to discredit it over a silly data error.
@@kevinmccoy781 I have several older GPS devices that are like that, they don't give direction until there is movement.
My recent GPS all have separate sensors so that there is always a compass heading indicated. As you said it needs to be calibrated.
@@kevinmccoy781 I'm sure its different from model to model *shrug*
@@kevinmccoy781 That's not a compass. It's a course indicator. If the drone doesn't move, it won't work.
Wish you didn't have the overlay. This is less spectacular, horribly cluttered with irrelevant information.
Half the screen is obscured in some way.
Maybe just date, elevation, heading and speed numerically at extreme top or extreme bottom.?
He uploaded a video without the telemetry, perhaps watch that one instead?
✌🏼👊🏼🎥
Im so sad, where flatearthers go ? I dont see any screeming in comments...they already went to the ridge to fall of the earth ?
