      why do ppl always ask this question? It's impossible to know, and not even important. Install custom css that hide score.

    Hey. I really like what it did to the Claps. I’ve watched this video over 20 times and listen thru my studio monitor. Computer speaker on my phone in my car. And each time I’ve listen. Your video is the only one I can hear the different changes being made. Love your videos. Keep it coming.

    This unit or the Neve Design Portico II for the Master Bus...? Both of them are cool, but what should I get first to really "print" my Master...?

    I love my 2-Buss LT that I have, but now I am jealous!...lol, no hate, but that is a great new summing-processor. Everything about this device is very interesting, but the insert button was the selling point for me...

      +Robert A. Campbell Yeah man. Been using it for a while now. The extra versatility of the insert is kick ass.

    Would you use it for heavy Electronic Music? I have the 2bus lt and it doesn't work well, eats the subs of the kicks....Eats the synths ' sheen

    Dangerous Music 2 BUS + Work nice with ( 2 ) RME FIREFACE 802 ?

    • @dangerousmusic
      @dangerousmusic  3 роки тому

      Yes, but you would only be using 8 of the 16 inputs on 2-BUS+ if you plan on using the 8 analog outs on your FIREFACE. You would need additional conversion to get 16 out.

    Hey Fab would I want to have my
    Apollo x16 set to +20 or +24 headroom setting when summing the mix into the 2 bus + ? Also I picked up a ad+ which has 3 calibrations of -18 , -16, and -14 , my senses tell me I would want to use the +20dbu headroom setting on Apollo , while summing the 2 track mix at -16 calibration into the ad+ , but can not for the life of me find out if this is correct or not . To complicate things even more uad plug ins are calibrated to be used at -18 so I’m wondering if this setup
    I’d even ideal anymore , could I get your
    Thoughts and opinion ?

    cool! what is the difference between stimulate and saturate?

  • @gatlinproduction
    @gatlinproduction 6 років тому

    Great lesson I have a analog question that I’m so struggling with. Very very confused or should I say I’m trying to find the right gear that works best for my setup. MPCX Drum Machine. Roland TD50K VST plug-in notice every I just name goes USB into the computer. Now. Which Apollo X would be right for me in order to do what your doing with Dangerous Music? Meaning while mixing in Protools I would like to send 16ch out into Dangerous Music back into Protools. Or in my case is that an overkill ? Meaning I wanna feed those VSTs MPCX into Apollo X into Dangerous Music I’m kinda stuck on which to buy.

    • @dangerousmusic
      @dangerousmusic  6 років тому +1

      You could grab an Apollo 16X. With that interface, you'll be able to use sixteen channels of analog summing while you mix. Feel free to call us if you'd like to discuss in more detail. 845.202.5100.

    Question will the New Apollo x16 be an over kill or will this work ? I’m trying g to find the old Apollo 16 something I can make payments on but can’t find. So I would like to know if the new Apollo X16 will work?

    • @dangerousmusic
      @dangerousmusic  5 років тому +1

      It won't be overkill. You'll just have the Apollo's updated converters. If you find a used Apollo 16, that will also work. It's a trade off between saving some money and having the "newest and greatest."

    can I link it with the D-Bus for 24 channels like with the old 2Bus?

    • @dangerousmusic
      @dangerousmusic  8 років тому +1

      +Johanz Westerman Yes! Absolutely. The 2-BUS+ has an expansion input: Plug the D-BOX Sum Output into the 2-BUS+ expansion input, and you're all set

      +Dangerous Music and will the Distortion, Paralimiter and Transformer saturation work for all 24 channels?

    • @dangerousmusic
      @dangerousmusic  8 років тому +2

      +Johanz Westerman If you assign them to the stereo buss, yes- they will be across all 24 channels

    Do all the channels have a mono switch?

    • @dangerousmusic
      @dangerousmusic  5 років тому +2

      On the 2-Bus+, only channels 1-2, and 9-10 have the mono button. On the 2-Bus LT, all channels have the stereo/mono switch.

  • @gatlinproduction
    @gatlinproduction 5 років тому

    I’m still confused as ever and I’m ready to buy. But I’m still having some buts. I think it’s because I don’t understand. Can you please do a quick and simple video on basic connections ok 👌 Example. MPCX output going into dangerous OR Apollo 8px or Other connection to make sure all Vst is hitting the mic pre with milk and to be able to do Analog Summing. I guess what I’m saying is I would like my MPCX to get recorded inside the Apollo using VST connection and still be able to do what your doing on a hi end level. Or do I need a Mixer like 16 ch Pre-Sonus to run all my gear thru then out into the Apollo and dangerous Music. Very much confuse. Trying to do all my homework before I invest. Also after I buy my gear I’ll take lessons from you if you have them available.
