My dad has had multiple Ram 3500s megacabs lifted 6”-8” and pulled our 44’ raptor toy hauler all over the east coast
Man I love 7.3 trucks my grandpa still has one, but I found a world of difference when I bought my 6.0 and put 12,000lbs behind it vs the 7.3 😂

my dad had and old 16 ft car trailer and he towed a Kubota like yours and a skid steer bobcat and the trailer didn't break

Watched for a while and haven’t gotten a look at the whole shop its sweet your parents shop
Lifted isn't too bad. When you stick a dumb looking "leveling" kit that makes the truck 3" taller in the front than the back, then there's a problem. As soon as you stick a trailer on it now it's squatted. The lack of control when towing is lost because all the truck does is walk all over the place.

Lifted trucks can tow...problem is most people lift them incorrectly and don't regear the axles.
Had a 97 stoker ext cab on 33x12.5 it would rattle your teeth out haha not a smooth ride at all.
What axles are under that trailer, 3500lb? If so be careful!
Agree, and a good idea to be chaining heavy loads and using chain binders. If that tractor wanted to go for a ride those 3 inch straps wouldn't stop it. Granted if you have hauled alot you have probably done something similar at one point or another.

Can’t tow as much safely . That’s all . I pull a 12k 5th wheel with 6in lift and 37’s. However it would be a lot safer and economical the smaller the lift and tires . Fact . ✌🏻

That load was nothing, put it under an actual load and you'll see lifted trucks are more unstable, but this kid isn't old enough to know lol

I don’t think the myth was that they can’t tow. I think the “myth” (which is actually true) is that they cannot row PRACTICALLY. A stock truck will tow far better. It also looks less stupid
