This is how Juke should've been in the first place, funky style with funky color coordinates, it's like those Nike sport shoes it makes more sense, I like it
I used to dislike these just cuz the headlights were so different. Then we rented one for a weekend, only because it was the last crossover the rental company had available, and it was actually so much fun to drive. They're very fast and peppy, spacious inside, all around a very fun car but practical too as in it seats 5 folks. I seriously see myself purchasing this in a couple years. I feel like it's the perfect vehicle for someone in like they're mid 20s because it's fun to drive and because it's tall and spacious it could be a family car later on. Nissan is also affordable which is great too.
I am 26 and just bought one, black and red on the outside, pure black on the inside, leather interior, heated seats. Perfect to ride around in for myself and my business at my age and as you say...family car in a few years maybe.
I'm rapidly coming to the conclusion the USA is the backward backwater of automotive design. The Juke is brilliant. It's colourful, funky and fun. And I'm not alone in thinking that; 150,000 are sold annually in Europe. This type of small SUV, and the hatchback, will be the next big thing in cars in the US, and the indigenous companies will, yet again, be caught with their pants down.
Ford is the only one that won't have one out for 2015. Chevy just launched the Trax in the US (and has had the Buick version here for some time) and of course FCA has their Jeep Renegade and 500X that will be in showrooms just after the new year. Interestingly, Toyota doesn't seem to be in any hurry to jump into this segment either. Whether they will bring their subcompact hybrid crossover here remains to be seen. I think they are waiting for the market to develop some first. It is still a bit small.
It look unique in the outside but the interior looks hideous in my opinion, and the drive feels numb. I personally wouldn't buy it, it doesn't have enough utility for me, but its a good vehicle for the average person just looking to get from a to b in a unique car
Jeff Tolmich I think Nissan have chosen a colour combination which clashes in order to make the additions stand out for easier recognition. A little more care with the colour palette would make things a lot easier on the eye.
I'm a WRX/Focus ST girl but OMG I love the Juke!!! It actually makes me smile. Not sure if I want to buy one, but I definitely want to take one for a spin. Yellow = bumblebee awww
I like it a lot. I like unique cars, and this one has been growing on me for a while. I hope to test drive it sometime next year to see what I think in person.
demoncleaner80 As an owner of one, you have to drive it and learn more about it to truly appreciate this car for what it is, and that's when you really start to appreciate the appearance. That's what sets this car and its looks apart from an Aztek.
People think these micro suv s are a new thing. Looks like a modern sidekick/tracker/samurai/ Size and function are similar. Chevy just remade the tracker, Trax. Or what ever. Muscle cars look like they did 40 years ago. Can only race around the track so many times until it all comes full circle.
People hate on it because it's unique.... But just wait and see, soon other companies will start to draw their inspiration from the juke ...all the other SUV vehicles look the same these days. The juke is refreshing to look at if you're an open minded person :)
I just bought a 2015 lite silver and love it because it is different. I was the only one at work with a Kia Soal and I never have trouble finding my car in a parking lot. Since I bought it without the spoiler I might just add one in black for the contrast. To each their own. I kinda like eye lashes to 😊
The rear end design is great. The front makes me want Nissan to go the way of Pontiac. Orange pieces look like Blaze Orange Plastidip, a $5 a can diy project. Pontiac Aztecs finally have a reason to smile.
Style options are fine but what I wanna know is if there's any known mechanical defects/reliability issues like various vehicles have and are they still good cars after they get some miles on them.
The 2014 Nissan Juke was rated Poor by the IIHS for the small overlap crash test. Perhaps a good question to ask the Nissan representative would be if they have made any improvements to the safety of the vehicle, especially in regards to the small overall test. I personally find safety more important than any other features of a car and I'm sure many other people share the same perspective.
Tristan Meadows Not a fan out the color highlights. My personal preference, I have the same color car minus the color additions and I think it looks great! To each his/her own though :-)
WOW... it seems like Ken Kcomt REALLY doesn't like Roman Mica. His audible sigh of disapproval at 1:21 when Roman squeaked "Juke" made it very evident. The rest of the video it seemed like Ken was trying his best to be nice, but you could tell he couldn't wait for Roman to go away.
I have noticed a small design annoyance (if you will or whatever you want to call it) on the front of the Juke and Jeep Cherokee. At night, the DRL is on (here is Canada, it is always on), then you have the headlights, and there are fog lights. A lot of people turn them on for no apparent reason, like this guy I saw last night. It looked really weird and unnecessarily bright.
Never been a fan of those things and there are quite a few here in South Texas. It is made with form over function and you can see it when you look at the back end. Literally no cargo room or headroom for taller folks in the back seat. Not to mention the horrible blind spot in the rear window.
2012 sl awd.Injen Cai. cat delete exhaust. turbo smart dual port bovimpact front and rear tower braces. Ebc drilled slotted rotors larger than stock . eibach springs.up rev tune.20lbs of boost instead of 12.275 hp . I love it
For some reason, every time I see this vehicle I think of it as Nissan going in the right direction, however the vehicle itself doesn't win me over! It's more of a college kid car I guess!
Looks like Nissan has gone "Scion" on us. For a body refresh, they should have gone with a more Nismo / Nismo RS style, which actually aided in aerodynamics/down force. Also, they should have made the old Nismo 197 hp engine standard, and get rid of the old 188 hp engine. After all, the Nismo RS has 215 hp, and the limited edition Juke R will have 400+ hp engine. Yikes.
U will have problems with it in later time with stiff shift locks up on you. I haven't had a chance to take it to Nissan here in Ftworth. Everytime I drive it before getting in my car I have open the shift n insert a screw driver to drive it off. How sad ... for no reason this happens to jukes.
I guess it just depends on personal preference, I know people who're absolutely in love with this car. Personally, I'm in disbelief that they managed to make it even uglier. This kind of design just doesn't work with a car this small, and adding things such as a spoiler or colored wheels just makes it even worse. The Murano looks really good though.
I like the Juke look but hate the lack of rear seat space. Its that lack of rear seating that I think why many Americans won't consider buying one. I'm just guessing though.
Is it just the road or the car but anyways anyone have a Juke that experience the car like jogging when driving it’s weird but only in some streets so I’m wondering if it’s the street?
They should really do away with the manual drive selector stick shift. And put in an electric dial to switch between drive park and reverse. This wiould allow that whole centre consol area to have more storage area, cup holders ect and make the cars interior mire appealing.
4 Door? Do you mean 5 door including the boot/trunk? The Juke is a 5 door car, the back doors just don't look like they have handles. If you look, the handles are higher up the door frame in the black. So from a distance it looks like it doesn't have back doors.
I'm a nissan fan, the gtr the 370z just beautiful!!!! I always hated the juke! Funny story, yesterday I was with my dad on the highway (he drives a frontier btw) we saw a juke and he is like what's with this car (disappointed tone)
ah so the Nissan Joke has finally made it to America after making us Europeans suffer it for a few years already where it has been a "massive" commercial success. (ie: most hate it)
It's insane that they are still claiming such high MPGs. I have a 2012 and average 24mpg on the highway (from a 60mi trip). Such lies.... I even tried putting the car in FWD mode and setting the D-Mode to Economy-didn't affect the MPG at all
corners very flat very nice suspension for the price though stainless steel exhaust should be thrown in acceleration 0 - 60 in 6 secs or so those 17 inch rims and low profile tires are very nice
How about the transmission? Why so many people fooled by the body of a car. This car transmission use cvt not a good type of transmission don't waste your money on a cvt cars.
Almost everything you wanted to know? Yeah if everything you want to know is how colourful it is and basic sticker stats. Nothing in the way of drivability, reliability or almost anything relevant to an informed buying decision.
+sam weng no, you need the keycard to drive it, it has push to start but without the keycard it wont start or open, subaru along with kia, hyndai, volvo, vw and pretty much everyone else uses this system, keyless access is the name,
(sing) whoa oh oh oh I'm radioactive radioactive. With all seriousness, the juke looks like a Fukushima fish that has mutated to be vehicle sized and possess four wheels...
The only thing you need to know about this suv is it is an ugly piece of crap that only an idiot would buy. I give ppl a look of disgust when i see them driving this
Seriously this is why I'm never buying a Chinese car, even if you paid me to drive this, I wouldn't. I know car developers are trying to make cars look more futuristic but if you going to make the car look like this, please don't do it. American companies know when to stop, look at the Dodge Dart, that is a really cheap car and looks pretty futuristic but they didn't make it look ugly. I'll stick with my dodge, GM, Chevy, Chrysler, Jeep, and ford.
Um... wow... where do I begin? 1. Nissan is a Japanese car company not Chinese. 2. The Dodge Dart/Chrysler 200 are not even an American design. Those cars are reworked Alfa Romero Giuliettas. 3. Just by pointing out the first one shows that you have no clue what you are talking about.
See the thing is... Ford still hasn't been very reliable. I was talking to a woman a week ago about how I love her 2013 Ford Explorer. She says she bought the car new and has taken the car 13 times to the shop (not exaggerating). Apparently her dashboard came lose, the seam of the leather just let go and ripped, etc. Maybe its not all Fords but hey she bought it new and has problems already?! Japanese cars are great. Would def buy that down the road for long term use. Jeeps... o man, they are great! Especilaly Jeep Summit
It has a heck of a lot of style. But only to those who have that particular taste. If you don't like the style, don't buy one. Lot of money to spend on a car with "no style" :)
This is how Juke should've been in the first place, funky style with funky color coordinates, it's like those Nike sport shoes it makes more sense, I like it

Big Fudge same thing here, hated the look but was the last rental they had of that size. I absolutely loved driving it
Get the turbo charged one ☝️
They are a great car
Plz shut up! Most of these people who dislike this car and keep saying it's ugly can't even afford a bike!
I agree. I think it's funky!
+Malak Morad Ok dummy. It's ugly and I can afford your mom. 25 cents ok?
I think it is the coolest car ever
XD a

1guyin10 It's another case of the US auto industry playing catch-up.

I'm probably the only person who likes it , but I'm not very picky to begin with.
I like it a lot. I like unique cars, and this one has been growing on me for a while. I hope to test drive it sometime next year to see what I think in person.

Trust me. I owned one and I hate it.
I Love it too Corey it has Character & a Personality lol :)
Wilson Wijaya can you please explain why you hate it ?
I remember I showed my mom this her reaction: it's so CUTE.
Jonathan Washington LOL
Jonathan Washington you still have it?
Wonderful little car. Just love it. JUKE JUKE JUKE JUKE , haha.
Strangely, I've gotten somewhat accustomed to seeing the Juke so it doesn't look nearly as odd now as it once did.
I used to hate this car, but that little color studio touch really warms me up to buying one.
We've got alot of loyal followers who love this car...so we discontinued it.
People hate on it because it's unique.... But just wait and see, soon other companies will start to draw their inspiration from the juke ...all the other SUV vehicles look the same these days. The juke is refreshing to look at if you're an open minded person :)

Those are cool and really impressive mileage for suv turbo. It would be cool the have 2.5 liter turbo more oriented for power as at least an option.
ITS NOT UGLY ITS THE COLOUR UGH PEOPLE SHUSH
are there any for sale like this in long beach calif
The rear end design is great. The front makes me want Nissan to go the way of Pontiac. Orange pieces look like Blaze Orange Plastidip, a $5 a can diy project. Pontiac Aztecs finally have a reason to smile.
Roman jumps/hops (almost every time) as he introduces a vehicle at the beginning of their videos lol
Style options are fine but what I wanna know is if there's any known mechanical defects/reliability issues like various vehicles have and are they still good cars after they get some miles on them.

it so curvy, so much style, and so sporty. I want one
So I'm confused. What are the big round lamps if there not the original headlights?
Pontiac Aztecs are smiling.
Love the unique Nissan look definitely my go to car after the 370 Z and GTR :P
I really like my 2013 Juke. Not a fan of the new color options though. They come across very gimmicky.
Why do you think that
Tristan Meadows Not a fan out the color highlights. My personal preference, I have the same color car minus the color additions and I think it looks great! To each his/her own though :-)

I'd love to take one of these, put rally cross tires on it, off road lights and soup it up.... That's when they'd look cool.
Proof (if proof was needed?), that you just simply can't polish a turd!
I have noticed a small design annoyance (if you will or whatever you want to call it) on the front of the Juke and Jeep Cherokee. your opinion
+Juke Turbo fact.
no your opinion
Just YOUR opinion which means nothing
how can i get the color studio for a 2013/14 nissan juke
I like it! It's Japanese, not Chinese.
This car may be ugly looking but does well on icy and snow road conditions. It's simple and fun to drive.
I love this car
For some reason, every time I see this vehicle I think of it as Nissan going in the right direction, however the vehicle itself doesn't win me over! It's more of a college kid car I guess!
whoa... so polarizing. not sure of the color combo choice here. it cool that you can pick and choose.
As ugly as ever!
Looks like Nissan has gone "Scion" on us. For a body refresh, they should have gone with a more Nismo / Nismo RS style, which actually aided in aerodynamics/down force. the best car ever!!!!😀😀

it seats 3 in the rear !
Is it just the road or the car but anyways anyone have a Juke that experience the car like jogging when driving it’s weird but only in some streets so I’m wondering if it’s the street?
Did you figure what was wrong?
Is that a 4 door in the background I see??
They should really do away with the manual drive selector stick shift. And put in an electric dial to switch between drive park and reverse. This wiould allow that whole centre consol area to have more storage area, cup holders ect and make the cars interior mire appealing.
That would mean they would have to make a different mold for the manual and automatics which would add cost.
Hard to believe this came from the same company that designed 240sx/300zx's. Fuugggggly!
Love it!! Please come out with a 4 door!!!!!
4 Door? Do you mean 5 door including the boot/trunk? The Juke is a 5 door car, the back doors just don't look like they have handles. If you look, the handles are higher up the door frame in the black. So from a distance it looks like it doesn't have back doors.

ah so the Nissan Joke has finally made it to America after making us Europeans suffer it for a few years already where it has been a "massive" commercial success. (ie: most hate it)
If they given this vehicle some WRX tone !
Looks Good!Whoo!

I have the 2015 Juke and I get about 28-30 avg MPG.
Does anyone know anything about the car in the background? Concept car or other new Nissan model?
After some research looks like the Nissan Sway concept car en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_Sway
No... Its just a 2016 Murano. lol
Yes, just started seeing them on the streets a few months ago, thanks!
Thumbs Up.....Nice review...
corners very flat very nice suspension for the price though stainless steel exhaust should be thrown in acceleration 0 - 60 in 6 secs or so
those 17 inch rims and low profile tires are very nice
I see about 1 of these vehicles a year lol. He acts like they sell tons of them.
Good car, but strange combination of colors, could made classic black-red.
Why can't you buy the AWD with the manual?
MPG I'm sure or probably because most people don't care for manual.
Jonathan Washington
Most people in the States, that is.
7cougar0 Exactly, in other words it's not worth the risk, this to me is a pure college car.
the 2014 nissan nismo looks better than this 2015 juke. it even drives better
Looks like it needs a rhinoceros horn on the front. Quirky & cute.
Scion xB Kia Soul Trax Ford Edge Dodge Caliber I'll take Juke!
I have the Auburn color.
Need one in all black with rally suspension
How about the transmission? Why so many people fooled by the body of a car. This car transmission use cvt not a good type of transmission don't waste your money on a cvt cars.
Love this Car thinkin of gettin da Yellow xx ;)
Was gonna buy this ended up there's not enough legroom what a shame! :(
Me too

It still looks like a clown's boot...
Here in the UK we know English lol .... yes its Juke not Duke also its should be NISSAN not NissARN lol ..... you yanks !
Still it's just a Nissan. Got another model brand new and feels so cheap. Will regret it very much, very soon.
It's like the designers work to make it as ugly as possible before releasing it to the public.
I don't mind Jukes but this one looks like something a 2nd grader created.
Not my favorite design, but a nice package.. I'm glad Nissan is trying to be different!
Plastidip inspired design
Sooooo anyone can steal this car with a touch of a button?
+sam weng no, you need the keycard to drive it, it has push to start but without the keycard it wont start or open, subaru along with kia, hyndai, volvo, vw and pretty much everyone else uses this system, keyless access is the name,
I know. I posted this comment when i was young. I figured it out But still thx
the nismo is still faster then zo6
Umm. Ok.
Nissan is making some butt ugly looking cars as of late. This thing makes the Pontiac Aztek look good.
(sing) whoa oh oh oh I'm radioactive radioactive.
With all seriousness, the juke looks like a Fukushima fish that has mutated to be vehicle sized and possess four wheels...
What is Nissan's obsession with making ugly vehicles lately? Their entire lineup just keeps getting uglier and uglier.
I still want to drive that ugly alien car/suv thing !!
The Asian is so monotone
Nissan loses me with CVT.
Give us a standard automatic option.
They do a 6 speed manual with the sporty Nismo model. It is a great box.
All new cars are CVT .
They should have named it JOKE!!!
MY EYES GODDAMIT! BURN IT! BUUUUUUURRRNN IT!
oh god. kill it with fire.
Haha, I was thinking the same thing..
Woof
The only thing you need to know about this suv is it is an ugly piece of crap that only an idiot would buy. I give ppl a look of disgust when i see them driving this
this car is basically totally ugly, and the orange color stuffs in this particular one makes it even uglier...
This has to be one of the goofiest looking cars ever manufactured.

Ugliest vehicle on the road today. No style at all.
It has a heck of a lot of style. But only to those who have that particular taste. If you don't like the style, don't buy one. Lot of money to spend on a car with "no style" :)
Lisa E. no style???? it looks so much different than any other car on the road today that look exactly the same as each other
NISSAN not NEESARN LOL
Nissans are getting uglier. that orange and headlights are gross.
Nissan Joke
Nissan Puke
