about D-drive buttons. When you press Sport, Normal, or Eco. it's not just info screens. When you press those you actually alter how car behaves. I drove Juke today and Normal vs Sport is a world difference. So just to mention: these are not just informational buttons, they actually change how car drives.
Hi from the UK, home to the manufacturer of the Nissan Juke (Sunderland plant). This car has no in between emotions, you either love it or you loathe it. Well I LOVE IT... It's bold different styling is refreshing in a world of bland and boring Euro styled hatchbacks... Oh and by the way I LOVE New Mexico too, your professional road test of the Juke and the gorgeous NM sandstone scenery bought back great memories of visits with our American family to Kasha Katewe and Shiprock in beautiful NM... a great and balanced test of a future classic car. Well done Nissan for being so brave as to produce something different.
I'm in the UK and you are spot on the Juke polarizes people that why i bought a 1.6CVT N connecta and also ive got the new Qashkai as a company car with the 1.3 160HP new Engine and its superb. I like keeping our Boys busy so i buy Made in Britain cars now especially after Brexit. But once the UK and US deal happens i'm hoping we get some great Cars and Trucks to buy here from the states. interesting times. But the Qashkai is well built and goes well for 1.3 turbo 0-60 in under 8.5 secs.
My first Juke was a 2011 SV super fun to drive, now I have a 2015 Nismo, looks just like the one you are featuring. Love , love this little car. It's super fast, very nimble and I find it quite comfortable while driving. Yes there are a lot of people that may not like the way it looks on the outside but I find it to be very unique. Yes I agree about the price could be priced lower.
I love this car. I was bummed when it was discontinued for sale in the US. Apparently, it still sells like hotcakes overseas. I ended up buying a used Burgundy Black 2017 Juke (with Turbo) - that had only 12K miles on it.
Great review. I own a 2014 Juke Nismo RS AWD. I came from a Mini Cooper S. I agree. This is a love it or hate it car, from a styling perspective. It's not a car you want if you need a lot of cargo space. If you are like me, a married guy with no kids that needs a fun to drive, quirky looking, compact for under $30k, then this is your car. If you expect something else, don't get it.
Hi, I'm sorta in the opposite position of you: I've been interested in a 2015 Mini Cooper S (4 doors), but recently a 2013 Juke Nismo AWD caught my attention. Why did you move from the Mini Cooper S to the Juke Nismo? How would you rate these two cars in terms of fun factor and reliability?
I disagree with him on the CVT. I like it, and have no problem getting into other lanes, or getting on the highway. To me it shifts very smooth. Yes, it's different than a planetary gear type, but you quickly learn, and adjust to it. Sport mode works well compared to Eco.
I have a 2013 Juke and I’m a drummer, with the seats down I can Tetris my whole drum kit into that car,.. in all honesty, it’s short room but if you know how to pack the car, then you can rally get a lot in to it.. more than you think lol
I got the 2013 in feb 2014 as a birthday gift! Still have it! Love it! Had no problems at all and it’s 2019! The speed on this thing! I’ve raced Lexus, Audi and Benz! They have nothing in this car! Or I’m just a good driver! 😂😂
I bought a Juke Nismo RS, great little car fun to drive I love the Recaro seats in the RS and the extra power was great too. The cons are in the RS due to the Recaro seats you can't get heated seats also in the Nismo a Sunroof wasn't an option. The other crappy thing about the Juke is that if you go with a 6 speed manual transmission like I did you can't get it in a AWD. All wheel Drive only comes with that crappy slow and sluggish CVT crap. For those who are like me and need more much more power, for $3200 I replaced the turbo with a bigger turbo from precision, I installed a front mount Greddy intercooler, a HKS super sequential blowoff valve, 550cc injectors, high flow fuel pump, stainless steel magnaflow exhaust from turbo back and a Apexi power FC stand alone system to run everything. Pushed 312 horsepower at the wheel at only 12psi which is what I use for daily driving. At 18 psi it pushed out 402 at the wheels, I'm sure at 22psi and with some more tuning it could push over 450 horsepower, however I like to keep it reliable because it's my daily driver therefore I never push it over 14psi... At the end of the day if you start pushing over 400 horsepower out of a 1.6 liter 4 cylinder with stock internals it's only a matter of time till something breaks. Also front and rear strut bars and Eibach sport line springs make this thing handle incredibly!!!
I had a used 2013 Model for just around 9 months. It was totaled for a DUI driver early this year. (no major injuries thank God)... So, I looked around other cars and still I went with another Black Nismo Juke, just something different you can't find elsewhere... (Both Manuals, imo way to go for power and fun). Thou this time was a left over 2015 CHEAP. Love it as much as I did and even the newer model more. If you are thinking of one, even used. Try and go only with a 15+ Model. The over all improvements are worth it. Sound system is vastly better, not just deck apps, but clear sound the way it should be and more. 4 way cameras. Better power band. Outside lighting is nice. And other little improvements everywhere that honestly make a big difference. The 13/14 just felt more like a mock up, and the 15+ cleaned up its act and felt proper production model.
@@chadbaker9514no one really knows why it was discontinued many people are mad about this but it is supposed to come back to the U.S.A next year apparently
I have a 16 nismo awd and the handling is what really stands this car out . I've had it for a year and I can let people know 3 things. First the paint like all Nissan cars sucks . Second the continental s tires they put on it last about 14 thousand have great grip but are ridiculously expensive, switched them for a set of hankook ventus s2's they ride better, grip better, are not summer tires so better in rain and snow, and finally have less road noise. Finally, the Rockford sub in the back is great but it's in a mounting box that will back out the nut off the body and rattle so bad that you'll assume the speaker blew. This is what I thought and when trying to get to the speaker you borderline have to take the car apart. You get to the speaker modular box it's held on the body with that one bolt. I rectified the problem with a lock washer which I believe should have been there from the start. As well as put a spacer on the 8 inch sub . A 1/8 of a inch thick ring and replaced the screws to give better holding ability if I have to replace it , to make sure I have room for a deeper speaker to go in( mostly because I actually bought a kicker comp that would work with the built in amp) or to make sure that vibration from bass or driving would no longer be a problem for that setup of the modular box.
I just bought a 2017 nismo rs with 25k miles, and I love this little car! Having owned several minis, I can say, it is just as much fun to drive as my ex's cooper S, but this car has more space. I absolutely love it!
I have the RS version of the Nismo Juke. My wife drives is and she loves it. Good performance for its size and weight. It is really a 2 passenger car. The back is very small to be comfortable. We have this car for close to 4 years now.
I have a 2011 Juke AWD SL fully loaded Heated leather seats, the 9's.. It's a great handling, quick little crossover, with a Few thousand in after market upgrades and tuning these cars are fast as hell.. Also it's said that with these CVT trans You need to do a drain and fill every 30,000 some people do it every 25 thousand, Then I hear people don't change it at all.. But Honestly I haven't heard of to many people making it past 160,000 miles without without needing a new transmission.. And the people who do make it to that mileage are the ones who added cooling to their CVT and Change the Fluid every 30,000, so beware Very High maintenance if you plan on keeping. You definitely want to baby the car once you hit 70,000 miles if it's your daily..
Just bought a 2023 Juke SL turbo. I love this thing. Great gas mileage, with all the whistles with alittle kick of power. I love the looks of this car. I owned a Veloster before this car.
Having driven just under 60k miles in my juke I have to say it's a great car, even if it has cost over $6000 in repairs in the first 5 years, beware of the defective timing chain in the pre 2013 models if you aren't buying new
Just got my juke nismo on Tuesday and I absolutely love my car. So much fun to drive and is so comfortable. I think this is a sexy car. I have the black with red trim. Love it
If you lift up the false floor in the boot and slot it against the back seats the boot doubles in depth then the spare wheel is under a second false floor
I have owned the Juke Nismo RS for just over 7 years, in the past I have owned V8 Jaguars, V6 Alfas and have become bored with them in a year or so, I still love my Juke 7 years later
I love the looks of this, the size and HIGH SEATING! Plus it's a Nissan, I love Dualis/Qashqai as well. This is perfect for my lifestyle and I only drive with one passenger all the time, so I'm so happy with this, I just wish they would make the fuel efficiency even better!
i just got mine yesterday in Barcelona Spain, used with 30k on it, same color pearl white, 234hps, 6 speed no 4x4, 18 inch weels with 245 fuldas, Recaro seats, this thing moves great in mountais, i still have a smile on from yesterday, best little crossover to enjoy.
I have a Juke Nismo RS (6-speed) from end 2018 and with 248 bhp the most lovely car I ever had . If I had enough money I spent this to make him to tune him up with a stage 3 with 360 bhp, lovering and a front spoiler. I love that black "frog" ❤🔝
Great review, I found a used Juke NISMO RS AWD that I was considering buying for my son's first car and your video pretty much sold it for me. I really like the safety the AWD version offers for him in inclement weather and he will not notice or care about the difference in power. Granted if it was for myself there would be no way I would get the CVT, I just don't like them personally. I also fall in the camp of liking the styling, so we got the black version of the one you previewed. Again, thanks for the video, great job!!
I almost bought a late model Juke but opted for a 2016 altima. I love the styling of the Juke and sometimes regret not buying one instead, but the Altima is also a cool car.
I have the 6 speed manual and it is great. Personally I would not buy any car with CVT, it doesn't work properly and breaks easily. Even when new it feels like someone filled your gearbox with sand or thick tar. The 1.5 CDI engine is by far the pick of the bunch. 65mpg & 110mph. Developed with Renault. Mercedes. Nissan. it is used in delivery vans with a 2 tonne pay load (if it can drag them about a jukes weight is nothing for it) Mercedes don't make mistakes and they fit it in saloon cars. The styling is either something you like or hate. The chassis is old but tried and tested. Used in nissan cars for over 20 years with no issues. The down side of the juke is the rear window. It is to shallow to see anything low to the ground but the reversing camera is great and the distance lines are very forgiving. The rear seating area if your over 6 foot is a bit cramped but I don't care about passengers they should buy their own car. The high seating position is great for driving. This car is ideal for someone who likes the BMW X5 but can't justify that much money on a tin box. Parts are very cheap and the custom scene is making everything you could want now. Wide flares. Lift kits. Side steps. etc.. I have the BOSE sound system and it's fantastic. 16 speakers with headrest tweeters built in. The gps works faultlessly and the touch screen is better than most. Eco_ Normal-sport driving modes all work very well. Everything can be set to auto. Lights AC heater. Wipers. Doors. So no messing about with switches and buttons. The stop start can be disabled. The seats are about as good and conformable as any I've sat in. The velour material looks great and is very soft and plush. The electronic control buttons double up so one switch operates two functions (you will pick that up quickly as you use the climate and driving control inputs) mine is 4 year old and drives like a new car. Very stable and precise. Road camber has no effect due to the electronic steering damping. The steering gets stiffer the faster you go and slackens off around town. The Japanese do things right and for the money you get a lit of car with the Juke. ❤
Great video! I reviewed a 2014 black one on my channel a year ago. I agree, that thing is an absolute blast to drive. I found the backseat to be a bit too tight myself, granted I'm a little taller and chubbier. I do really like the climate/drive mode control combo. The one I drove didn't have the touchscreen or 360 camera, maybe it wasn't available in 2014? I didn't even mind that it has a cvt, but would have preferred it to be a manual. Very fun quirky little car though. Would love to get my hands on a manual RS
Have a 2011 turbo Sv and I love it still. Decked it all out with rims, and got chrome side mirrors with blinkers spent extra getting the fog light since only Sl have them. alot of chrome everywhere. Would love to get the new 2020!
With only the two of us this is perfect, fold the back seats down more than enough room for our suitcases and coolers as well as fishing gear and folding chairs .. the works, we have the FWD Turbo SV version and it is a blast, good gas mileage and fits just about anywhere ... and it looks good, not like the cube which is well a cube (think shoe box) and soul which is under powered (no turbo) and much smaller as far as space which is a drive around downtown no power/fun good gas mileage vahicle ... with the Juke you get the best of both worlds, but it's looks doesn't go well with everyone, but being unique makes it stand out in the crowd ...
Polarizing? Maybe to those who like generic, homogeneous vehicles... Unique? Yes, and that is what attracts me to it. I've owned two Mini Coopers so maybe you get my gist. I love this car!
Thanks I been working on a list of cars to buy. I have had my current car 18 years so time to upgrade i was looking at Nissan Rogues and i like fell in love with the Juke's not sure it will be the car i get but right now in my top 3 just trying iron out all my thoughts. Your video was great thanks for taking the time to make it :)
I guess "fun" is subjective. While I feel like this car is a boring frumpy mess of overpriced quirks, your car choices lead you to this as being "fun". Meh..to each their own.
I have a 2012 sl with cat delete exhaust, Injen intercooler piping ,cold air intake. big brake kit. turbo smart blow off valve, Eibach springs.245-45-17tires Stock188 hp.Mine 275 hp .I love it
You can find 2 or 3 year old Juke Nismo's with a manual transmission on Carvana for around 16k. I almost bought one, decided to get a Mazda6 instead. Hope I don't regret it!
Getting 'off the line' there is a bit of turbo lag. Hold the brake, rev to 2 grand and release. For daily driving there's more than enough power. Why does everybody have issues with the CVT? I live where there are several small hills, car just goes, no downshifting when going up a hill, lots of power at any point. Drop it into sport mode/ manual shift and it winds out very decent. Just not sophisticated or good enough driver to worry whether I have a geared transmission or CVT. The CVT works with lots power all through the band and no downshifting. People complain about the noise a CVT makes, really?, what noise? For the average driver the CVT is just fine.
Even a Porsche Carrera has a "lag time" in regards to the turbo charger. You need to get that up to 3.5K rpm before the turbo kicks in.I just purchased my second Juke. This time I upgraded to the SV model. Same hp/turbo, different accessories and accents. Needless to say, I'm a big fan of this CUV!!!!
Really? I just looked up the hp of it and its 188...thats so slow! And your saying it can keep up with a v8? It can barely probably keep up with the v6s.
I miss my 2013 Juke SV...and I'm thinking about getting a Nismo RS, but I wonder if the seats will be uncomfortable like the Civic Si seats are for me.
I got the 2011 AWD Charcoal grey SL with intercooler N upgrade BOV 2J Crank Pully, a down pipe and 2J Cat Back exhaust, and a Mid pipe.. I also had to add a CVT Cooler and an OIL Catch can.. I will be getting a 2j racing Tune within the Next 6 months.. I love this car it's a sleeper for sure.. These Cars can be tuned to gain a 100 foot pounds of torque just from a tune and some bolt On's.. The car is actually amazing for what it is..
The headlights, tail lights and front turn signals are what turn me away from the Juke. I feel Nissan designed the thing and forgot to add them so they just set them on it. Other than that, it's ok.
Somebody tell me I'm not the only person who loves this car . I think this car is so cuteeeeee 😍😍😍

i just got mine yesterday in Barcelona Spain, used with 30k on it, same color pearl white, 234hps, 6 speed no 4x4, 18 inch weels with 245 fuldas, Recaro seats, this thing moves great in mountais, i still have a smile on from yesterday, best little crossover to enjoy.
Just got my 2016 Nissan Juke sport today! It’s great so far
Any update? Considering a 2016 ctv awd 15kmiles
Very professional review man!
It kills me in the comments how almost everyone who commented owns one or are waiting to buy one
Lol yep I was just approved for a loan as I looked at one online. Just gotta go to the dealership with all the crap they need to get it.
Really great intro and loved having this car, want to see the difference between this and the new RS model
I'd love to get one of these while low mileage used ones are still relatively easy to find.
Lol I'm driving through Milwaukee right now on my way to work. And I just bought a juke ! 😂
I have one and I really like it. I think it's a cute and unique car. I wanted something small and an awd with style, and this fits the bill.
And as an addition, I own a Mercedes SLK 230 (supercharged) and I like driving the Juke much more than the SLK
Still driving my 2013. My seventh car and my favorite car by a landslide
I love my Juke fit my list perfectly!
Polarizing? Maybe to those who like generic, homogeneous vehicles... Unique? Yes, and that is what attracts me to it. I've owned two Mini Coopers so maybe you get my gist. I love this car!
Wow! Gorgeous landscape! Add nice effects!
What were the other 2? And what did you end up getting?
It is ugly for me but it's fun factor makes up for it, which is why I love this car
I guess "fun" is subjective. While I feel like this car is a boring frumpy mess of overpriced quirks, your car choices lead you to this as being "fun". Meh..to each their own.

I have a 2012 sl with cat delete exhaust, Injen intercooler piping ,cold air intake. big brake kit. turbo smart blow off valve, Eibach springs.245-45-17tires Stock188 hp.Mine 275 hp .I love it
I LOVE MY JUKE Hate to see the line is gone for 2018 ,but thats ok I will get a 2017
You can find 2 or 3 year old Juke Nismo's with a manual transmission on Carvana for around 16k. I almost bought one, decided to get a Mazda6 instead. Hope I don't regret it!
The murano gives you the standout styling with improved storage and better hp@260
Its faster than a v6 camaro and mustang and can keep up with the v8's as well
We have a 2014 Juke and just love the sporty little thing.
thanks for watching!

The car is actually amazing for what it is..
sounds awesome!
There is a compartment at the bottom of the trunk. If you lift the trunk "floor" you have much more space.
Simone atGeeMail that's where the spare is suppose to go

Really like the 2018's new styling.
I just bought a car. I really wish nissan was still making the juke. I wanted one so badly!!
Does it remind you of the Pontiac Azek
Aka ungiest car in the world
Which i think is beautiful
Sometimes ugly is just ugly
...and that's definitely the case for the Aztec as well as that shoebox vehicle, the Scion SUV
I own a Nismo Juke and my dad's spare winter ride is a 2004 Aztek with only 85k miles on it and looks brand new in and out. Love the beautifully ugly.
My car is Nissan Juke 2017, an extraordinary car and unique, I love it!
I will drop it, it would look meaner
the RS NISMO is lowered, but idt they make it anymore , i have a 2015 nismo
what about the 2014 juke sL im thinking of purchaseing it
If the answer is yes to the question I will buy it... can a folding bike with beach gear fit in the trunk?
If it's a Nissian, then I'll drive it.
Cross between a Citroen and a roller skate... but it grows on you a bit.
nice description!
Thank u so much for this info am really looking forward to buying this car now
Update?
My friend has just became a car enthusiast and saw a Tesla Model X and said I never knew Tesla mad SUVs I was like ITS A CROSSOVER
The was a really engaging, informative, and relate-able review. Thanks for that!
How many kms, does it go for a liter of fuel?
i have a 2015 nissan juke nismo in the black, i freaking love it, works amazing here in canada with all our snow, AWD VECTORING BABY WOOO HOOO
Im in vancouver, do u still own it today? How is/was it? Im considering a 2016 cvt awd with 24k km
Try the Nismo RS manual.
Not the fastest but handles great and really fun to drive.
that car is pretty awesome, nice review 👌👍
The extremely small cargo space kills it for me.
Crazy question. How does it do on trails?? Probably need a lift huh
I like the look and will be getting one. say so many model variant which is the best choice?
Has Honda made a CHR or HRV SI yet? I don't think so
Have had my Juke S for a year now and now we have wet winter weather coming and I’m curious to test the AWD system.
The headlights, tail lights and front turn signals are what turn me away from the Juke. I feel Nissan designed the thing and forgot to add them so they just set them on it. Other than that, it's ok.
