- GMTX 2604, ex B&O 3836 leads the Cleveland Commercial Railroad ( now known as Cleveland and Cuyahoga Railway ) local into Glenwillow Ohio to interchange with the Wheeling and Lake Erie Railway. The W&LE has 104 and 4602 for power on this dreary day. The 2604 leaves their cars on the main and cuts away, the W&LE crew couples to them and pulls them onto the siding. The CCR couples to the empties the W&LE brought for them and departs north. I caught them once more at Bedford before getting rain out.

Great video of my old neighborhood. Truly enjoyable. Thanks for braving the weather. Keep them coming
Thank you! I just put up another video of this line.
Great to see railroading. Thanks for posting
Thanks! Glenwillow is only 5 miles from my home in Solon. In Bedford you are near the little park with the statue of hometown boy, Baseball Hall of Famer Elmer Flick. I've been there a few times, that's not far from home.
Thanks for watching!
Should try to get some shots of the newburgh and south shore RR. Super interesting operation they have going on there, not too far from here
Those first couple scenes gave one the feeling of desolation but if it works so be it. Liked the telephoto that included the old Whistle Post sign. Where the train squeezes between the depot and the other old building was really good even in the rain. On doubt the highest concentration of freight cars starting with the letter Z. Zalev Bros scrap
Looks like ERIE weather.
Funny how the joint bars weigh down the rails over time
❤Great ending Shots 👍🏻👍🏻
An interesting branch line traffic 👍👍👍👍👍👍
Great aerial shots. Nice branch line story.
That was really cool footage Scott! (Dave).
Excellent video Scott!!!
4:40 Unbelievable.
Cool shots of downtown Bedford Oh. Having lived in the area I knew it well as soon as I saw the Bedford Museum. At one time it has a train club on the second floor that I belonged to. We had three scales of layouts. O scale, HO, N. Brings back memories. Thanks for the great videos.
How did you know CCR was making this run??
Dumb luck. My wife had a doctors appointment in Solon, we drove down the road afterwards. The wheeling was waiting and one of the crews radioed to the other. Might have waited 3 minutes before the CCR came into shot.
@@ScottTaipaleRail crazy luck lol. Ive caught 663 1000 times (and hopped it lol), but never caught CCR heading down from Aetna. Id like to hop the scrap yard to solon lol
Scott, You need to check out charlie kirk this week. He is using one of your videos about the condition of the ND&W from 5 years ago. Not happy with the way he is gaslighting people with your video. FYI I like charlie but damn!!!!
