After taking of bracket it was not there , on my 2001 it is between the generator and oil filter. So look first for it between those if not there then do what this video says.
FYI.... the problems I had with my 04 PT b/c of the bad crankshaft sensor 1>Actually cranking issues 2>lunging & lagging during Acceleration & during the changing of gears (automatic transmission) Got a pic of old, can't post but the top was completely melted!! Again thanks for your help!!
IF YOUR CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR GOES BAD SANE AS THE CAMSHAFT SENSOR CHANGE THE SENSOR AND THE ELECTRIC CONNECTOR HARNESS . THE CONNECTIONS GOES BAD OVER TIME!!

Thanks for this video Appreciate the step by step instructions.
Hey great video. Thank you. Do you think that is the easiest way to reach the sensor?
Thanks, I appreciate your video. Helps me know where CPS is and how to replace it.
@@raymondbustos1545 You're welcome! Glad this video was helpful 🙂
Great info, just what I needed.
Is it located on the driver side or passager
Kinda in the middle 👍
What happens if you don’t put back that bracket you took off?
Doesn't matter I left mines off for years
Awesome video. Thanks much for sharing.
Thanks for this video. Extremely helpful, easy to watch and understand!!
Just didn't catch what size bolt hold the sensor itself?
10mm I believe 👍

Oops
What are the symptoms of this part being bad?????
The engine can't run without a crank position signal. You may experience the car not starting at all or it may randomly die on you while driving.
Also chokes up while driving
@@arcaneiconoclast319That's what mine does..Can't go over 60, no power..let it set 15 minutes and then fires up and takes off until next time
What were the symptoms of it being bad, car wouldn’t start ?
Yeah, it would intermittently not start. It also had a code P0335.
@@ValleyMobileAutomotive what about p0340 and p0344
Thank you for watching video
