    After taking of bracket it was not there , on my 2001 it is between the generator and oil filter. So look first for it between those if not there then do what this video says.

      Doesn't matter I left mines off for years

      FYI.... the problems I had with my 04 PT b/c of the bad crankshaft sensor
      1>Actually cranking issues
      2>lunging & lagging during Acceleration & during the changing of gears (automatic transmission)
      Got a pic of old, can't post but the top was completely melted!!

    What are the symptoms of this part being bad?????

      The engine can't run without a crank position signal. You may experience the car not starting at all or it may randomly die on you while driving.

      Also chokes up while driving

    What were the symptoms of it being bad, car wouldn’t start ?

      Yeah, it would intermittently not start. It also had a code P0335.

    Yea..but dnt put too much pression or u will break the sensor.

    8mm for the actual bolt to the sensor

      Yes it is an 8mm to sensor, lol I took mine off and it was an 8 mm.

    IF YOUR CRANKSHAFT POSITION SENSOR GOES BAD SANE AS THE CAMSHAFT SENSOR CHANGE THE SENSOR AND THE ELECTRIC CONNECTOR HARNESS . THE CONNECTIONS GOES BAD OVER TIME!!
