Jeju is called the Hawaii of Korea and is considered one of the most beautiful travel destinations in Korea. It can be reached by boat from Busan or by plane. You can get there in 1 hour. I hope you have a fun and safe trip.

Korean shopping karts handle differently than American shopping karts. US ones only pivot on the front two wheels while the rear ones are fixed. On Korean carts all 4 wheels pivot. So it can feel strange to handle but can come in handy in narrow places.

Zane, Korean is incredibly easy to read. It only takes a maybe a half hour to learn! You keep asking how "Lotte" is pronounced, but if you can read korean then it is very easy! There are many youtube videos that will teach you how to read it in a few minutes.

South Korea is incredible! I am in the process of learning korean at the uni, and whether I will use it or not, I have much appreciation for their culture and their history and the culinary side is amazing.....their technology is 👌, here in the west, everything is so crap and backwards....😣.

What you tried was KTX leaves Seoul station. SRT which leaves in Suseo Gangnam is more comfortable with larger space.

My favorite at Lotteria is Shrimp Burger. I always get one shrimp burger, one teri burger and fries. A lot of Koreans will think I'm weird but in fact, Lotteria is my favorite fast food place in Korea!

10:45 Applepay is not that common in S.Korea yet since It was introduced in like April 2023. But most of convenience store(like CU, GS25, Seveneleven) and some recent-opened shop does accept it. An ApplePay logo should be in terminal if they accept it.
As a South Korean, I would highly not recommend you to go to Lotteria if you're looking for a hamburger in South Korea. Lotteria is a fast food restaurant that has very poor reviews even among Koreans. Lotteria is famous simply because it's cheap. I never go to Lotteria to eat.

Nice! I rode KTX from Seoul to Busan on 7 Dec 2023, train 101, car 13, and seat #7B that left at 0932. Then returned the night at 2026 hours to Seoul since I have DMZ tour the next day.

4:27 Pronounciation of "LOTTE" is closer to LOT DAE (LOT is pronounciated like lot in word "parking lot", DAE is pronounciated just as it should be, but D is little bit closer to T).
Grew up hearing my parents speak Korean. Lotte is pronounced LOW-TTAE. The "o" is long.
