  • This 30 footer is running in very north North Dakota at Sorum Farms, Flaxton, ND. The tripled-tired Versatile is packing 535 HP and taking every bit of it to maintain 9 mph on radar. Tire slip is running over 15% based on the soil movement with a full set of weights.
The machine is the first produced with center frame hydraulically-controlled weight transfer. By setting a pressure relief valve, the operator can change the amount of flexible down-pressure for various soil conditions. When the transport wheels are raised the system automatically resets the wing down-pressure to the specified or preset amount. Then when the transports are lowered the wing down-pressure is eliminated from the system.
Additional down-pressure can be added/or eliminated directly using the wing fold hydraulic circuit as well.
The roller suspension is also hydraulically adjustable and uses accumulators to allow for each 5 foot roller interference with rocks and field undulations such as terraces.
