This is identical to the one I got for my daughter. I moved the screw for lower speed and it hasn't changed a thing. Almost as if the screw is too short to stop the cable. (???)
@@MiniBikesStore Thankyou, i will try it on my sons bike now. Also do you know roughly how fast they go, cos i just bought a gps device to check his speed and it says he just got over the thirty mph mark! Will de-ristricting give him that little bit more? Hes only twelve years old and quite small for his age. Cheers
I gues even with the screw in the bike is already on it's maximum speed, best way to make the bike faster will be replacing the front sprocket for bigger one.
We got two of these for our daughters ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L the same size for age 6 and 9. It works very well for both girls. Gears were very easy for them to learn. Changing gears up takes some hand strength and is a bit hard, but they are learning. They did not come with water bottle holders- we actually got confused and thought the Derailler Guard was the bottle holder!! Regardless of these details, the bikes are fantastic- even our six year old who only just learned to ride bikes caught on within an hour of practice and loves it. Lightweight and easy for them to handle. All the parts are in excellent condition and the bikes are easy to assemble and very well packaged. Great choice for kids!
I'm trying to find out how to fix the red kill switch on my son's bike. When he pulls the red rubber top off, it stays running. We been pulling the spark plug wire off every time. I traced both the red and black wires and both are wired properly. Anyone?
Get into the carburetor, and above the throttle slide where the spring and throttle cable is attached, thread a small length of brass tubing around the throttle cable inside the spring, and reattach it to the throttle slide. Cut the tubing so you can only open it between 1/4 and 3/4 of the way depending on where you want it to be. I take a little bit of trial and error, but on some bikes you don't even have to remove the carburetor to do this This will really work on any carbureted bike, you're just going to have to get creative, but it's really easy on these 50cc or whatever, gas powered kids bikes, as they are usually a really simple setup. You can also use a small length of copper tubing, stainless tubing, or a small piece of some fairly rigid nylon tubing or gas line. I was just recommend against something that can rest easily, as any moisture in the fuel will cause it to rust in down time.
yes you can restrict speed on 49cc pocket bikes, but if you wish to restrict it to very slow, you should go for electric bike where speed can be restricted to very slow

My son's 50cc has an automatic accelerator, as soon as he starts it the bike starts moving even if he's nowhere near the throttle, is there a way to disengage this as the only way he can currently sit on the bike with it taking off is to hold the brake lever or turn the engine off
Hi, it looks like you have badly adjusted engine idle speed, or clutch has broken spring. so adjust the engine idle speed to be as low as possible, if this does not solve the problem then remove the gear and check the clutch
It’s probably something simple like the idle speed. On the motor, likely on the right side, there’s a little gold screw that you can turn with a flat head. That’s how you adjust idle speed. I’d turn the bike on and turn the screw back just enough for the bike to not pull away.
yes if you do not put the nut on it the throttle will open to full, but if you want to make it faster you may need to replace front sprocket for larger one

Thank you very much Sir

So is top screw slowest bottom faster?
Can you remove the screw all together and get more throttle what does there have to be a screw in there at all times
Awesome thank you

Ur idle may be set too high
In that way,is that possible for my daughters’ 49cc(55kph) pocket bike to only run around 10-15kph? 55kph is way too fast

yes if you do not put the nut on it the throttle will open to full, but if you want to make it faster you may need to replace front sprocket for larger one
So if u leave the screw out then it will be faster than putting it on the 3rd screw hole or would it be the same?

How can we higher the speed on a mini moto?
you need to be sure the throttle moves all the way and nothing is stoping it
Marty284 just move it down so the throttle can go all the way
