That Vette launch was just good.Imagine it was AWD.Vettes are legendary. But GTR is also in legendary vehicles list. There is one in my country with 2500+ HP it has 100-200 kmh of 2.3s@. It is called Vis Kosova Nissan GTR
I don't care how fast a GTR is, to me it's played out and overrated just like the old 2JZ Supra. I'd take a C6/Z06 or ZR1 anyday over the other two cars I mentioned.
@@LSMykie I'm a car enthusiast of many different makes and models. Mainly a Honda guy at heart but not of any of their products past 2004-ish. A close friend bought a GTR two years ago and sold it within eight months. Stating that was the fastest car he'd ever owned but it got boring. His words not mine. I personally own an Integra Type R that I still find to be a blast to drive with just a few bolt on parts and tuning. My mechanical taste buds are really enticing me towards a C6/Z06. There's just something about that N/A seven liter V8! More than penty to satisfy me once I di my personal mods to it for the rest of my life! Not to mention for the $$ it's hard to beat. I want something that's very "streetable" with a usable power band and not a high-strung tire destroyer only. With good A/C mind you... 😎
@@ahmad1080p I could also add by personal experience I've driven an old school GTR and a 97 NSX. both owned by a close friend. The GTR handled well but was a beast in a straight line. The NSX had great acceleration but handled like it was on rails. Most JDM fanboys would pick the GTR anyday but the NSX is the car for me. Not as quote "fast" but far more balanced for the street.
The GTR needed 1000 hp to beat a ZR-1 by a car length and the ZR1 beat him out of the hole, a few little mods and the ZR1 will beat the over priced modded to the max import.
gtr is 300lbs heavier and the corvette sounded like it had some mods, it did not say stock ZR1, as if you would buy a ZR1 and not make some changes, a gtr with less hp would have still won. good race tho...

Muscle car vs sports car, awesome straight line race but definitely doesn’t prove much with the two different class.

ZR1 is Stock no Engin tuning?
It is full bolt on ported and upgraded Kong 2650 supercharger. And auto swap with a built 4L80e with a transbrake and 4k stall converter
