@@jamallmorris1672 if you’re talking about buying a car from an auction, I would just recommend going to a site that’s close to you. Find a car you like, inspect it and if it feels right, then buy it. If it doesn’t then don’t buy it
The story was that car fax made an error because the odometer said 62k on it and it was set to U.S., so carfax put it as 62k miles, but since setting the odometer is a dealer only thing, they forgot to set it to miles after bringing it from canada, so the car actually only has 34k miles on it, and the only thing it had was a Transmission code error that was easily fixed by cleaning the fork pistons and clearing with an OBD2 tool, after that was done he has a 2010 GTR under 40k miles in excellent conditions for only $46k USD.
What better way to branch out into something new, GTR is the best of Nissan engineering efforts so I'm glad this is what you dived into. Goat v6 no doubt

He bought it from an auction. You can get amazing deals on places like copart, iaai, and even police auctions. Thats actually how alot of buy here pay here lots get their cars. Pay a couple hundred dollars for something that needs a bumper and a hood and make a couple grand off of it. And they will deliver to whatever address you put. Say Like you live down a one lane road that's hard to get to. If they don't do rollback delivery they will put it in an open parking lot that you chose to have it brought to.

From my knowledge of other nissans on the FM platform, that sounds like a wheel speed sensor or abs pump issue. They lose it when there is a problem with either lol.
@@phen1811 No auto I've driven does that, if you tried in a manual you'd have to balance the clutch or it'd stall, why would any automatic gearbox not disengage the clutch when stationary? How do you stop whilst in gear at traffic lights? Loads of people are commenting this but it makes absolutely no sense to me whatsoever, why would you even want your car to roll itself while idling? That just sounds ridiculous
@@TheCynicalJedi that's literally how 99% of automatic transmissions work, at lights you hold the car still by pressing on the brake pedal. when in the gear D (drive) the car will slowly roll forward by itself. there is no disengagement unless changing to neutral
Always get the mechanics fixed before you get the outside fixed cosmetics mechanics but that thing should be clean. Once you put a code reader up you should be able to find very minimal issues. The throttle response is probably because it's in transport or somebody was being stupid and killed the injectors. Hopefully the all-wheel drive system is all right. No like massive damage. That thing looks like a clean clean buy
Best I can figure is that it still go in gear so 1st gear will still pull the car forward. The throttle is computer controlled. There is no throttle cable so the issue must lie somewhere in the throttle position sensor
Hopefully repairs arent too bad and it ends up costing around the same as a clean gtr. Thats a smoking deal if it isnt and you get it all fixed. FBO and tune and nobody is beating it for the price tbh bargain for good power and platform.
So, bit of a fun note for those wgo are not used to good ole diesels, these things sip fuel compared to petrol engines! For example: my alfa drinks a healthy 6.3L/100km, which being a comfy compact sedan (about the size of an e46 BMW) with mixed backroads/highway/city/traffic usage is pretty decent. This means that if the brother toyota weren't a diesel that thing would probably chug fuel like its trying to win a competition
Such an easy fix, thats a great looking car. Im willing to bet the cel is something as simple as the MAF or 02 sensor. The pedal could be the TB sensor or even the connector on the pedal assuming its fly by wire.
and all the lights are just plugging back in a few spark plugs in correctly, nothing in the car is messed up. but there is a weight pressure sensor in all the seats, so if you put more weight on you can turn on the secret turbo i put in the transmission
Well,I believe in what he said like opening IDU and ODU isn't always needed,in these recent years we look these thing like how many rows of condenser coil, coating,Weight,etc.. because all brands are slowly decreasing their quality year by year😢 otherwise in those old days we just go to store and purchased ac as per our requirement that's it no more research or anything.Well showing those hardware materials isn't bad but its time taking😅
