Hello, drone noob here. I just bought a dji mini 2 a couple of weeks ago and while it takes amazing footage and is super easy to fly, I only found out about FPV drones after I bought the mini. I've spent the past 2 weeks just watching videos, researching, even bought some FPV simulators so I could start practicing. Now two weeks later, I've decided to return the mini 2, as great as it is, I want the freedom of fpv and believe I can handle it with more practice. I still want the capability to record beautiful 4K video and the Cinelog25 seems like the perfect first drone. Just one question, what fpv headset and controller would you recommend to a beginner if I were to go with the GepRC Cinelog25? Thanks. new sub here and am loving all the content!
Great review. Thanks. Two newbie questions. I'm guessing all those beautiful indoor shots (around glass furnishings 😲) were using stability/angle mode rather than acro? If so I'm interested in how it flies in acro. I mean I know it's not a freestyle quad but can you flip it and stuff? I only have two tiny whoops now but I can only fly in acro, so I mostly fly outdoors still as I don't have much space indoors. Secondly, would it work well with an insta360 Go 2? Rather than the naked GoPro. I really like the idea of the smaller stabilised waterproof robust camera, and I definitely can't afford both! Sorry for all the questions!
He definitely flies acro for those shots, and most people use GoPros because the video quality is better, and stabilization is also better than insta360's especially when using reelsteady(software) , though it doesn't mean the insta360 go 2 is bad, i think it's great! Happy flying
@IDKFPV thanks! If all those indoor shots are in acro...wow. I have some practice to do! I'd still be interested to see some more acrobatic outdoor shots with one of these cinewhoops to see how they handle it.

Matt, I am torn between the cinleog25 and the cinerace 20, I want to learn fly through FPV, not acro tricks and flicks. To do the stuff similar to the stuff you did with the restaurants. Always a pleasure to see a new video Matt! As I'm also a Canadian dipping my toes into fpv, do you have any recommendations for drone courses/trainings if I wanna fly something over 250g?
Hi Matt! I love your tutorials and reviews, are so clean!! Thanks!!! I also own the protek 35 but for some indoor flights and gaps i feel it a little bigger and too much air turbulence by the props (also w air mode off) so i was thinking on the protek 25 pusher or this cinelog 25, do you think its a good companion for my protek 35??? Thanks!!!
Yeah $450 for that prebuilt naked gopro is a lot, i think I'll wait September to see the new GoPro, hopefully they listened to the fpv community and made a new session! That would be great
another vid i had to watch even though i don't do cinema stuff or fly a whoop regularly, I've got them but they don't interest me, but after your vid i might get one just to have in the inventory . keep the videos comming great job Mat.
i got my first fpv at the beginning of the year, a protek 35.. it was fun and could do freestyle but not well, so i bought a nazgul a month later and its a beast... when i switched back to the protek i started flying it for what it was intended, smaller gaps and spaces AND really enjoyed that experience... now looking at a 25 in something because id def like to hone my skills and develop a portfolio for work... loving these types of videos. thanks!
man same here exactly same setup haha not sure if i should buy the nazgul now or the cinelog 25. Did you change any settings at the protek 35? I have the 6s Version and flying preciously is pretty hard as it feels sometimes that there is to much power when pushing the throttle and hovering is not really possible
Hello, I'm looking for advice....I'd rather buy a Gopro hero 8 and make a GP8 Naked????....because Gopro hero 9...10..11...12 are not so reliable and it can happen that they go away...they just stop working....so for indoor shooting I should go to the GoPro Hero 8...????

@@MattPochwat Thanks ! I just saw your last video explaining what you've learned during a commercial shoot (very interesting) but for my part angle mode could be a good tip. I've tested both accro and angle on my cinelog 25 in tight spaces (indoors) and angle is more stable, resulting in less cropping with RSGO = better quality. It's also safer (furniture, people etc.) and smoother. My acro is surely not the best but it works for me during commercial shoots. Could be great to make a comparison video about that.. Anyway, thanks for your content, keep on doing it !
this one is definitely quieter. The new bigger motors make a bit more noise but you would definitely still notice a difference between the protek and this

Just ordered the Premade GoPro through you, and will be doing the cinilog cinewoop 25 later this week. So what are your thoughts on the 360 2,. And the other 360 cameras?
Do you mean the insta360 Go 2 or the One x 2? The Go cameras are a fun toy but the quality is pretty limited and they don't hide vibrations really well. I haven't used the one x yet but I have the one r and it's cool if you like 360 video but I'd much prefer to use a GoPro for most scenarios
@@MattPochwat Yes, that's what I meant. Well I ordered the naked GoPro prebuilt. Little pricy, but to me well worth knowing It works. Do you have any tips on setting this quad up with the camera. ( Hopefully I'll have them in 2 weeks.)
One of my customers asked why don't I just get a small mavic light and fly it inside of the facilities where they will want recorded. Have you tried that?
Hey John, if you got the DJI controller as well, everything will bind really easily. First plug the caddx vista into your computer and download "DJI Assistant 2 for DJI FPV". Then just make sure your firmware is up to date. Once that's all good, just search "how to link dji fpv components" and watch the tutorial they made. It's as easy as linking a bluetooth device.

@@MattPochwat So I found the button. I think Ive got it bound. This is going to sound stupid, but I took the screws off of the props, and the props will not come off. What am I doing wrong? Im afraid if I really twist them it will break a motor.

Hi I want to buy the cinelog25 but I have a dJI Goggles and controller etc can I use it with that? Which option should I choose on the website PNP, frisky and TBS... I hope you can help me.
I was thinking about it and you made a video about it! Thanks for the insights Matt.
Could you carry a full size gopro with this???
Hi Matt! Great clip and inspiration for the community! What is the weight on that build Naked GoPro mounted on your drones?
Matt, I am torn between the cinleog25 and the cinerace 20, I want to learn fly through FPV, not acro tricks and flicks. To do the stuff similar to the stuff you did with the restaurants. When I behgin to spec stuff up, what do I need to select to make this work withe djio goggles and dji mode 2 controller? I am looking at the Insta naked or go pro too, cheers
Thanks!!!
Man I am in the exactly same situation right now! xD Owning protek 35 HD and cant decided between cinelog 25 or the protek 25 pusher xD
What about using an insta360 with this drone?
i know you have been mentioning that you are using a naked gopro, but will the drone handle the weight of one that wasn't stripped down?
or better yet, do you have a recommendation for an fpv like this that can take the weight of a hero5 that hasn't been stripped?
Great review mate. Keep em coming. Very interested in this drone as my 1st fpv.
Yeah $450 for that prebuilt naked gopro is a lot, i think I'll wait September to see the new GoPro, hopefully they listened to the fpv community and made a new session! That would be great
Or maybe buy the SMO 4K
@@KhoPhi i don't want insta360, I'll wait and get the gopro 10, session or not, unless it's more than hero 9 weight with battery delete..
I just got a session. I’m loving it
@@codythompson1900 Enjoy it bro 👍👍
another vid i had to watch even though i don't do cinema stuff or fly a whoop regularly, I've got them but they don't interest me, but after your vid i might get one just to have in the inventory . keep the videos comming great job Mat.
What type of interface does the Momoda antenna come with: MMCX or RP-SMA?
i got my first fpv at the beginning of the year, a protek 35.. it was fun and could do freestyle but not well, so i bought a nazgul a month later and its a beast... when i switched back to the protek i started flying it for what it was intended, smaller gaps and spaces AND really enjoyed that experience... now looking at a 25 in something because id def like to hone my skills and develop a portfolio for work... loving these types of videos. thanks!
man same here exactly same setup haha not sure if i should buy the nazgul now or the cinelog 25. Did you change any settings at the protek 35? I have the 6s Version and flying preciously is pretty hard as it feels sometimes that there is to much power when pushing the throttle and hovering is not really possible
What is the difference between a 3inch freestyle quad and this one here? Very similar components. Why this one is flying so slow and smooth???
Slow is camera angle.... smooth is stick control.... guards for safety only bro
Also slower rates will make it more stable.
I love the 2.5" cine, I have an umma95x with naked gopro6 that is awesome for my needs.
Hi matt
Which one do we get for the DJI Air Unit one? Without receiver? from the buying link
Hi Matt do you have a video or a recommendation on how to set up my DJI controller for the proper switches that are on there? Ie arm, turtle, and more?
I really want to know the differences in indoor flight between de 25 and the 30
I have a geprc rocket plus. Would I be able to mount a named GoPro? Maybe insta360?
Hi Matt, will you be doing a review of the Cinelog 30?
Sorry Neil, at the moment I don't plan on picking one up. I've heard the differences are really minor so I'm not sure it's worth it
@@MattPochwat no worries, your channel has be really helpful. Ordered the cinelog30 and dji goggles
what is the 2022 ultimate 250g< cinewhoop + naked gopro ? or best setup ( motors props frame battery settings )
Would this work with the hero 10 bones and keep it under 250g?
That's what I want to learn... Any recommendations for beginners? Ty
Hi Matt, What are the risks if I use it full gopro hero 6? 🙏🏽
is it the Amex lounge?
very similar to the one at SFO , which i worked there as an operation manager huge lounge
Sorry my English is not Perfekt. Is it possible to fly it with a newest regular gopro , for example?
geprc naked 8 or osmo action 2 ? This second one has a better low light performance and better quality I think but no extra battery.
Would I be able to mount a naked GoPro to my geprc rocket plus?
what's the best indoor drone that will take a full size gopro?
Can you share the betaflight setting? I bought this guy but I unconfigured.
Hi Matt, do you fly accro or angle indoors during a shoot ?
Always acro
@@MattPochwat Thanks ! I just saw your last video explaining what you've learned during a commercial shoot (very interesting) but for my part angle mode could be a good tip. I've tested both accro and angle on my cinelog 25 in tight spaces (indoors) and angle is more stable, resulting in less cropping with RSGO = better quality. It's also safer (furniture, people etc.) and smoother. My acro is surely not the best but it works for me during commercial shoots. Could be great to make a comparison video about that.. Anyway, thanks for your content, keep on doing it !
Nice review and interior shots wow. What was ur setting on naked GP 8 for those shots? please do share
which battery are you using? The link is not working.
Nice video Matt. One question...how is the noise in comparison to the protek 35...? How loud is it.
this one is definitely quieter. The new bigger motors make a bit more noise but you would definitely still notice a difference between the protek and this
are you in the ATL?
Hi Matt, thanks for the videos. I have basic FPV questions (noon). I want to buy this quad and use with DJI goggles and controller. Is this possible or do I need to buy a separate controller? Hard to find a video that explains all the digital fpv options. Thank you
I am in the same boat, I am trying to find this sort of info and cant seem to find it anywhere. I am looking to buy this drone and the DJI goggles, then what a dji remote or other
What would you say the best tiny whoop would be to get for a small outdoor drone and performance?
Great clip dude, nice editing, appreciate the info.
Hey Matt! So I finally got everything the Geprc 25 With DJI Vista pro to DJI goggles and controller. Now how do I bind them together smoothly?
Hey John, if you got the DJI controller as well, everything will bind really easily. First plug the caddx vista into your computer and download "DJI Assistant 2 for DJI FPV". Then just make sure your firmware is up to date. Once that's all good, just search "how to link dji fpv components" and watch the tutorial they made. It's as easy as linking a bluetooth device.
@@MattPochwat I updated the goggles, and the controller. Now I can't find the binding button to push. Also, there is a connection, and a mini usb in the CADDX NEBULA PRO... I undid the 4 screws in the back, and am looking for the bind button... man this is frustrating!!!
@@MattPochwat So I found the button. I think Ive got it bound. This is going to sound stupid, but I took the screws off of the props, and the props will not come off. What am I doing wrong? Im afraid if I really twist them it will break a motor.
@@jkspinalchoice It will be awkward with the small motors but just try to hold the motor in place with your fingers on one hand, and twist the prop off. Sometimes they get on there pretty tight
@@MattPochwat DUDE YOU ROCK!!!
Man I’m having a hard time picking a drone. I bought a census and it’s amazing then I got the meteor 65hd by betafpv and it’s terrible so many issues and I can’t even fly it board blew twice in it. Is this drone easier to fly?
Amazing indoor flights! What rates are you using? When you flight indor, do you use angle mode? I’m going to buy a cinelog 25 to indoor flights, can you share your betaflight configs? 😆
Always acro and stock betaflight settings/rates
Do you need a license in USA for that drone in particular?
