Paul Carberry times it right as HARCHIBALD wins the 2004 Christmas Hurdle at Kempton

Harchibald gets one over Rooster Booster in the 2004 Stan James Christmas Hurdle at Kempton.
The 8-11 favourite followed up his facile victory in the ‘Fighting Fifth’ Hurdle as he cut down the popular grey to score by a length and a half under Paul Carberry.
Richard Johnson and his mount were 25 lengths clear at one stage down the back straight, but the leader began to tire in the closing stages and was picked off by Carberry on the Irish raider in the closing stages.

¡Muy buena carrera y resultó fantástico como el caballo número 4 rebasa al número 7, ya se pensaba que el 7 hiba a ganar puesto que ya hiba muy adelantado a los demás, pero inesperadamente cambian las cosas, puesto que el 4 apretó el paso y fue el ganador
¡Hermoso caballo café, y al último hiban muy orgullosos, tanto el jockey como el dueño del caballo

Thats the way some horses need ridden, if they dont gain a lead and make the running theyll be pulled up before the 5th, its tactics just a horse too good for him that day
