Yes, Barbara, Persian War was a brilliant hurdler. He was one in a million.
Constitution Hill's slick jumping and his ability to inject a change of pace will have most hurdlers in trouble. He's certainly the most exciting prospect we have seen for some time.
It's the way he done it. He went hard, raced prominent and still finished like a train. It's extraordinary.
3m Chaser in waiting?
@@justthetruth1 That's the dream, to win a God Cup. But does he have the stamina required? I don't think it's been been done in the history of racing, for a horse to posses so much speed and excel over long distances. Kauto Star, Dawn Run and Flying Bolt are the best examples but did any have the speed of this guy? Perhaps Flying Bolt but that's unbelievable company to be keeping if he's in the same league as the horse many consider the best to ever jump a fence.
@@leesog3203 Dawn run won them both it has been done.
He has the potential and the class to do it, Henderson and the owners will want the history, easy to keep going the same route each year and many have done so, so to try this would be magical. He would certainly win a champion chase or a Ryanair over shorter but 3m would be phenomenal. He might start at 2m chases and move up, let's just hope they try it so we can enjoy watching it!

he3's just grabbing the turf and shoving it behind him.i've never seen a horse do this at the end of a race at the festival.definitely something special.
6 seconds quicker than Honeysuckle carrying 4lbs more and hardly broke sweat.. Honeysuckle is a great price at 7/2 currently but if CH turns up in the Champion Hurdle then I fear her unbeaten run will finally be at an end. But what a race to look forward to....
My thoughts exactly. I wasn’t even a believer before this race. Thought he was a hype job. What a fool I was. He’s a monster. He’ll wipe the floor with her.

@@timcomley5948 ....if CH doesn't turn up ? Injuries happen all the time. What if CH falls or unseats , gets brought down or run out ?? Take nothing for granted , Honeysuckle at 4/1 is a great price
Honeysuckle won't be running In the champion hurdle this year I'm afraid shes going for the mares hurdle such a shame!

It needs to be a very special horse to beat Honeysuckle, but I believe Constitution Hill will be this Horse

What we witness last Yr is about to happen again this Yr only way this horse loses if Nico jumps off or it gets brought down but with that tank I'd hold it in 2nd and stalk State man likes he's my bitch lol

2.1 for champion hurdle is a silly price because you have unbeaten honeysuckle and then sir Gerhard and vauban so really 2.1 is a silly price
