BTS is a 7 member group who is now in their 10th year with a 350+ track discography largely written and produced by the members themselves conjoined by their inhouse producers. The leader 'RM' has 210+ credits making him the youngest most credited artist in Korea and the rest of the members are not far behind. BTS is known for being extremely profound at articulating what they introspect and composing it into the sound they with their artistic knowledge believe will deliver the emotion of their lyricsm. They began with their roots in hiphop but have experimented their way into currently having above 10+ genres in their discography with the main being hiphop, pop, r&b and electronic, but majority of the time its a fusion of these genres, or their subgenres. This is the MV that started it all for me 3 years ago. It blew my mind when I saw it. It was so different to anything I'd seen before. I was immediately intrigued. Next was Boy With Love. And then Black Swan. That's the one that threw me down the rabbit hole and put me on the road to becoming ARMY.

Oh! I think you should start some live performances. When you have time, the MMA2019 is a must watch. It’s almost 40 minutes long but I promise it’s something you have never seen before, the quality, the size of the performance, the time and money invested on it, it’s another level. If you imagine something huge, it’s probably like 10x what you’re thinking and it’s not an exaggeration. Idk if you know but BTS also has a lot of Japanese songs. Some versions like Mic Drop and some original songs like Film Out, Lights, Your Eyes Tell, Crystal Snow… there are many. Some have music videos as well and live performances 💜

The music video is great but this performance in particular (and I don’t know of them ever doing it the same again), it just blew me away. Everything about it was perfection. I would recommend you to go on the titles of their whole discography, and once in a while react to their songs in chronological way. Because you will find lots of satisfaction in their progress, although they have been absolutely awesome from the very beginning) With the help of the Boracity magazine guide, you will find no difficulty in choosing the songs in an organic order ... If you liked this vibe, I REALLY think you’d just love the k-pop group ‘Stray Kids’; their song ‘God’s Menu’ is a great place to start!! They’re a 4th gen group (the current generation), and they are totally self-produced - which is quite unique in Kpop!! JYP (their label) decided to try something new with them, and it’s really worked! So their all-round talent is WILD. I think you’ll just fall in love with Stray Kids’ music and personalities, and STAYs (the stray kids fans) are so special. Their music, message, and community have quite literally changed my life in just a few months in a way that has honestly never happened to me before with any other artist/group x
